DDF Poco in Lego

Hi everyone, I’d like to present my interpretation of a DDF Poco-class starfighter in Lego form. Ever since this starfighter appeared in Skyward, I wanted to have some sort of 3D model version. The Year of Sanderson box included a nice die-cast M-Bot model, but no Poco, so I went and made my own.

The main inspirations for this model were the drawings in Skyward by Ben McSweeney and this fan art (https://www.reddit.com/r/brandonsanderson/comments/a1i6hq/skyward_ddf_poco_ship_model/). It was challenging to make because the original starfighter was a very pointy 2D drawing that did not translate well to blocky Lego, but I tried my best.

Some details included are an opening cockpit with space for a Spensa minifigure, an acclivity ring and lightlance on the bottom, and a destructor on the nose. I’m a little uncertain how many destructors the Poco is supposed to have, because I’m sure it was mention in Skyward that they have twin destructors, but the pictures only show one. Also, I added some blue stripes to add a bit of colour.
