Pathfinder Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 This brings up something. What good would (assuming it would be possible) removing, say, a sword that had gone straight through you? The wound would still be there, you'd just be bleeding out faster... That wouldn't be Aluminum it would be Nicrosil. Aluminum only dissolves your own metal reserves, whereas Nicrosil burns that of people you are in physical contact with. I thought that was chromium, and that nicrosil was the one that acted like dularium but externally?
gjustice99 she/her Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 I thought that was chromium, and that nicrosil was the one that acted like dularium but externally? You're right. Sorry I read the Coppermind page wrong.
Oudeis he/him Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Though it might be interesting to use nicrosil on Szeth... get him to positively flare with stormlight for just a moment. The light would prolly penetrate walls. 1
anonymous2017 Posted December 16, 2014 Author Posted December 16, 2014 I have just revised the post. Hopefully that will help direct the discussion towards a definite yes or no. Of course, I guess the final say goes exclusively to Brandon. Does Brandon Sanderson read this forum ever?
Inkthinker Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Better odds that Peter will see forum posts.
anonymous2017 Posted December 20, 2014 Author Posted December 20, 2014 Better odds that Peter will see forum posts. I apologize for my ignorance, but who is Peter?
Inkthinker Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Peter Ahlstrom, Brandon's editorial assistant. 1
