Ma'tani stayed in Truehearth, do you want her to have held on to them for her?

"You're a bard?"

“Is there something else you’d rather be called?”

He shrugged. "Ahnnie is based on Ahnden, my real name, but I don't really care."

53 minutes ago, Through The Living Glass said:

She immediately went back inside.

"There's no one out there," she observed to the others, walking over and sitting wherever they were sitting.

"Their probably worried about what will happen next," July said, "It's only a matter of time before October and February get their armies involved."

14 minutes ago, Spark of Hope said:

"Good." She took a drink of her orange juice."

10 minutes ago, Through The Living Glass said:

"It worries me."

10 minutes ago, Spark of Hope said:

"The quiet?"

4 minutes ago, Through The Living Glass said:

"Yes. And the emptiness."

She turned to June. "How's your arm?"

@Magi

"Um . . ." June scrunched up his face, as if deep in thought, "it's broken."

3 minutes ago, Spark of Hope said:

She shrugged. "It means we're safe for now."

"Maybe."

"We'd probably be safer under February's reign. Not safe, but safer."

"Why on earth is that?" August asked, closing the door to the staircase.

He looked uncharacteristically messy, and was in a change of clothes probably borrowed from Marnie as they were a lot rougher then his usual style. He wiped the sleep from his eyes, approaching the bar.

They were taken when they got to the castle

She nodded.

"Oh. Can't say I'm surprised. How are you otherwise?"

"I just thought- I mean, yeah, he's dangerous and good at fighting... But I thought that October would be harsher in his punishments..."

"October would be harsh," August replied, waving at Marnie who got down a bottle from behind the counter, "But February is insane."

Marnie poured him a cup, which he took but didn't sip immediately, "And I'll admit I just . . . really don't like him . . ."

August didn't elaborate, finally taking a sip out of his cup after sitting down. It had a strong spicy smell.

"Personally," Ahnden said, jumping in, "I think October is a better choice simply because he's based here, February would bring his northern politics into everything, and heaven knows that place is less then stable."

Just now, Through The Living Glass said:

"Oh. Are you . . . okay?"

"Well no, considering everything that happened yesterday, but it could be worse right? Plus there's no use moping around about it ;0"

She didn’t say anything. She was embarrassed.

She shrugged.

"I guess. I'm still sorry about- your arm." She'd almost said, "what happened," but then remembered that it was entirely his fault, anyway.

"Well, I think who ends up taking the throne is the least of our problems," July said after a brief moment of silence, "Let's just focus on getting out and away--things'll be chaotic no matter which one takes it."

"Meh, it'll grow back or fix itself or whatever, there are plenty of instruments you can play with one hand."

Rye STILL feels bad about that one.

Wait... Rye? At a tavern? Heheheheh...

The door slammed open as a group of soldiers marched in, bayonets glimmering on their unfamiliar weapons. Unfamiliar to everyone but Rye, of course. Wow, I remember making those myself!

"We are looking for a friend," the head of the guards said. "He is small, quiet, likes to steal things. Goes by 'Rye'. Has anyone seen him?"

Rye took a gamble, then stepped out in front of the guards. "I'm here, fellows. Hey, Nagakari! I remember you!"

Nagakari smiled, then called for his men to chain Rye up.

"I apologize for the disturbance," he said to the tavern guests. "But I am glad we didn't have to burn the inn down to find him." With that, the guards marched out the door, dragging Rye by the arms. This is stupid, he thought, But in my circumstances, it just might work. He winked at his friends, then the door shut, and he was gone.

Hiiii

So as I said in my SU, I'm going to be taking a break from this RP (with much sadness, as I've loved it here).

I didn't really mean to commandeer the plot of this one in the first place, so please please keep playing without me. I think that this is a good point to make this change, as the plot has wound down a bit and we're all at a tavern.

For this one, I'd rather my characters just stay behind as the plot progresses. The characters I used in this RP are some original ones of mine whose stories are very special to me--so as I'm sure you can imagine, I had specific ideas of what I wanted to do with them and were they were going. Unlike with Bodyguards, I would rather just have them sit out then hand them over which I hope is understandable.

But: Spark, you can have January, October, and Jeko because they were mostly just here for the plot of this rp, and I know you want to continue your plot.

Sorry about this, I hope you continue to have tons of fun :sylheart:
