mmm yeah that complicates things. my advice is find other autistic/neurodivergent people since they're sometimes easier to interact with (from my experience at least)

That’s fair. You could also wait for them to talk to you, or just do what I tend to do and sit at the edges of conversations and listen (possibly creepily, idk but no one’s yet asked me to stop)

Something like that is fine, but not complete random people. Like people you might sit next to in a class or have classes with. I made some good friends in Freshman year that way.
