I lived a few different places

South Carolina, most recently. 

I don't want to say more than that (respectfully), but it's not hard to figure out since my background is literally the Charleston, SC Pineapple Fountain

It's fine. It's weird because Texas is the most Southern but it doesn't identify as Southern as like South Carolina, Georgia or Alabama.

I completely agree; Texas is its own kind of Southern.

I miss the people down there a lot. Not saying I don't love my friends here in the West, or that there aren't nice people, but everyone just seemed a lot friendlier back there.
