Building wearable Shardplate (need advice)

So yeah i'm attempting to create a set of shardplate armor but i'm having trouble with makeing the armor seemless but still wearable. Do yall have any advice or such?

I'm not sure what to do to make armor... And I'm making licence plate armor for Halloween and I want to see the advice too
