Maxal, you are totally cracking me up! Upvotes for you!

Heir of the Void, this entire thread idea is also cracking me up. It's only fitting that I started (trying) to play Fallout 3 for the first time last week.

My 100 Points:

Bunker Improvements:

More Space: Can I get an extra 5 feet on each side for 2 points??

TV: 2 points

Books: 2 points

Meat Vat: 7 points

Bedroom: 7 points

Furniture: 5 points

Hydroponic Garden: 6 points

Kitchen: 4 points

Holographic shooting range: 8 points

Gym: 8 points

Survival supplies:

Glock: 7 points/weapon

Additional ammo: 3 points

Body Armor: 5 points

Sword: 1 point

Survival Kit: 3 points

Medkit: 5 points

Additional Goods and services:

Youth: 10 points

Gunslinger: 7 points

I'm okay with being a vanilla human and a loner at that. :P

Ok. That'll give you a leg up in survival gear, if you're willing to go without human contact.

Since I choose gold feruchemy for me and my companion, I have a good way to avoid pregnancies: when she is in her fertile period, if we have sex she then put a lot of charge into her metalmind for a few hours, becoming too sick to remain pregnant. a bit uncomfortable, but better than having a child without the food to sustain him.

Let's say the bunker comes with a straigh razor for free and whatever your least favorite feminine product is. Buying the bathroom provides you with things like electiric razors, shaving cream, and better feminine hygine items.

And... um... no one gets pregnant in the bunker, I guess. Yeah. Lets go with that.

Adding realism is OK, in fact, that's sort of the point. It adds new stuff to consider.

So I really need a bathroom....

OK so no babies in the bunker, that a relief

I up to 128 points now....  I have taken back my bathroom and I have added youth for my companion, lurcher's abilities for him and two swords. I have decided swords were the weapon of choice for a post-apocalyptic world. This would give my companion 10 years to teach me (he would of course be a swordsmaster) how to use mine :D I would still suck as close one on one combat, but at least this would give me an additional defending ability.

So I need to stay 3 extra years in the bunker........   Or get rid of Netflix...  Why do I get the feeling I am the only one struggling with this?

how much for a 10 year supply of metal to burn?

Cause if I can get it I'll be a Slider I'll burn Bendalloy for the next 10 years and by the time I get out the world should have more or less recovered.  :D

Edit: Pulser I meant Pulser I'll burn Cadium for the next ten years.

You see this as a problem? Clearly this means "bonus companions, for free." :ph34r

Ha! But any bonus companions would require food. If you have one companion already, you're 10 year frozen/canned food supply is good for only 5 years. If you get the meat vat, your get 1.5 lbs. of meat a day, which isn't a lot for two+ people. I feel like IF you ever choose the companion, you ALWAYS have to get the meat vat and the baking skills, so that you can ensure everyone is able to eat.

Otherwise...you and your companion(s) will die after 5 years.
