Aethling he/him
Was it just me, or did Rumpel from Once Upon a Time keep referring to his son as Balefire? Then the son just disappears from their universe. Sounds almost like they have some WoT fans as writers. Shard of Choice he/him
Some of the writers on that show are really big WoT fans, and so they did that on purpose. I believe that in the first episode you see Balefire in there is also a character named Moraine
Aethling he/him
Hmm, didn't notice Moraine, but that would make sense since she is the first user we have of balefire in the series.
.S.A.M.K.M
Not that I dont think Once Upon A Time is not cool but could we talk more about the book series please. Also, who want bet that Balefire is the unknown father of Henry. So crossing the streams of Balefire, linked moridin and Rand. SO much so that rand can channel the true power and Moridin can feel pain from rand. This weapon burns an object from the pattern, extending into the past depending on its strength. My guess that it linked these guys threads instead of simply destroying them. I have a theory that fain and moridin will be used to eliminate each other, so finally deal with the darkness. The original seals were corrupted and weaken by the taint on saidin. Ant thing the dark one touches, will be corrpted so one day break down. Some believed that if both sides of the power were used then both would have been tainted. There are 2 ideas: Use the true power against the dark one Use the ruby knife or aridhol to act as the focus of the new seal. Is the dark one afraid of bale fire? Could it or its power affect them more some how. It burns threads from the pattern, could it burn the dark ones toch or presence from the pattern.
