Who will be revealed as knight radiants?

We all know about five radiants. Dalinar, Kaladin, Shallan, Renarin and Jasnah. Well actually six if counting Szeth.

But who are the other four? (presuming there is one per order to be revealed)

Obviously Lift is one.

There are many speculations about Adolin becoming one but I´m not quite sure about that.

My guesses for three more is definitely Rysn, maybe two of the following: Wikim, Sebarial, Elhokar, Tarah (if she is alive)

Would be cool if Rlain would become one or Eshonai (who probably is alive since the fourth book is supposed to tell about her life)

What do you think?

surprise, sadeas is not quite dead and has become one.

gavilar also has survived and is now a radiant.

And the first bridgeman that speaks to kaladin, the one giving him advice and from whom he took the clothes? he survived the arrow and the fall in the chasm thanks to stormlight, and has been living there all along.

Tien is also bound to make a great comeback in the climatic moment when kaladin is going to give in to despair.

What? there were enough people brought back from death in the end of the last book that I wouldn't surprise too much at that. :D

Szeth = Probably, but a strong case can be made against.

Adolin = Yes. He has Radiant stamped on his forehead in bright letters, but he'll struggle to make it though. There are a lot more evidence in favor then against.

Rsyn = No. Larkin does not mean Radiant, but something else. She is not set to become a major character anyway, so highly unlikely in any case,

Wikim = I don't know where this one comes from... We don't know enough, so I just really can't say.

Sebrarial = Would be nice, but I am not convinced.

Elhokar = No. The evidence in his favor are the sprens he claims he sees, but he is not exhibiting the required persona to be a Radiant. Perhaps in the second half, but my guess is he'll die.

Tarah = Yes. I'd like to see her as a Stoneward.

Rlain = No. I see him as a squire.

Eshonai = Yes. Strong evidence can be found in her favor. My bet is she'll be our Willshaper.

Tien if coming back to life Can also become the stoneward.

I hope Adolin is not. There are already three Kholin radiants and that is also WHy you probably are right about Elhokar.

Wikim reminds me of Renarin in persona that is WHy I thought he could be one.

Sebarial has proven himself not to be so worthless that the highprinces first assumed. Would be a nice twist making him a radiant.

Rysn maybe you are right but I think she Can become a main character in the back five books. Maybe that larkin indicates she is not becoming radiant as you stay.

Tien if coming back to life Can also become the stoneward.

Tien's death was part of Kaladin's growth. Having him come back to life 5 years later would seriously be anti-climatic. I think Tien is dead for good, but he were alive, I believe he would have fitted better with the Lightweaver as he had the spirit of an artist.

I do not think we can use the number of Kohlin's Radiant as an argument for or against any other Kohlin becoming a Radiant. It is irrelevant. To become a proto-radiant, you need to exhibit the proper attributes, to behave in the proper way. The name you are wearing does not matter.

True, there are many Kohlin's Radiants, but most of them can be linked to the "Dalinar effect". He has had a large role to play in raising his sons, especially Adolin. Jasnah seemed to held him in high estime.

Elhokar, we had a whole threat in the Words of Radiance forum where I ranted on why he shouldn't become one in the near future. To summarize it all, I think he does not have the right persona nor the right behavior set to become a member of any order. However, the fact he is name Kohlin had nothing to play in it, I think.

Wikim reminds me of Renarin in persona that is WHy I thought he could be one.

Renarin is the one Radiant I do not quite get... so Wikim... I dunno. Brandon still needs to come up with a plausible story to explain Renarin properly.

Sebarial has proven himself not to be so worthless that the highprinces first assumed. Would be a nice twist making him a radiant.

Potentially. I can see some of the drive the Radiants have exhibit so far in him, but it is very deep. So maybe.

She is not part of the characters mentioned to have a large story arc in the second half, so I think it is unlikely. Not impossible, but not probable.

It´s to obvious making all the Kholins radiants but if that is the case probably Navani will become one as well.

The things I like about Renarin is he want to step down from being a lighteyes to become one of the ordinary people. He proves that by going to bridge four.

He like to work not being served. He also seem to have a kind nature not wanting to do anything evil to anybody.

He is also mysterious so I get curious about knowing more about him.

Where can I get this information? Which 5 characters has been named for the second half?

How do I separate the quote into small ones like you did?

Read my answers in the quote until I learn.

You click on "quote". You remove the part you don't want. You click again on "quote" to get another part. I edit them manually. The "multiquote" tool never quite worked for me, but I tend to be dumb with this sort of things :ph34r: Try it. It will be easier for people to answer you.

He likes to invent faces on stones and thought they could bring a smile on his grumpy brother. I thought it was akin to Shallan's desire to create perfect lies for her brothers. He did prove to be a talented artisan shortly before being send to his death. I have always put in as a potential Lightweaver and had he survived, I sincerely think he would have made it.

I do not think all the Kohlins will turn out being Radiants. I think Adolin will become one and that's it. 4 Kohlins Radiants.

I never saw Renarin joining bridge 4 as an attempt to step down from his station... He wanted to learn to become a soldier and the bridgemen were the only ones that never went on the plains. He knew his father would have never let him join another squad, so he tried for that one. Adolin did the same when he was his age. I saw it more as a try-out.

As for his kind nature.... well Renarin is a Truthwatcher, one of the order with a high percentage of Cultivation... They tend to be more ruthless and less honorable... I wonder how this will play out with Renarin. It could be there is a layer of him we haven't seen yet.

Where can I get this information? Which 5 characters has been named for the second half?

There is a few threads where we discussed it. To summarize, the last order given by Brandon is the following:

3=Szeth

4=Eshonai

5=Dalinar

6=Taln

7=Shalash

8=Jasnah

9=Lift

10=Renarin

Books 3 to 5 have been confirmed without a doubt. Books 6 to 10 have been semi-confirmed. Taln, Jasnah, Lift and Renarin are solid. Shalash could still change. I am still naively hoping for a Releaser flashback :( The order of the second half is not fixed as well.
