Right after the battle of the tower, Dalinar's entire Warcamp is transported to Westeros. All the soldiers he lost at the Battle of the Tower are mysteriously resurrected, and the Bridgemen are still present. In addition, Dalinar's Shardblade, Oathbringer, has been mysteriously returned to him.

The Warcamp appears five miles outside the city of Old Oak, near the Shield Islands in the Reach.

Dalinar has 20,000 veteran Alethi soldiers, mostly heavy infantry with some archers, and a few hundred heavy horse. All the camp followers normally present in his Warcamp are transported with him, including five soulcasters. Notable persons present are Kaladin Stormblessed, Navani Kholin and her artifabrians, and Adolin Kholin, with his Shards.

For purposes of this fight, Navani discovers a fabrial system that converts heat into stormlight, meaning that Shardplate can be repaired normally and Fabrials can be used, and any surgebinders can use their powers. Dalinar's soulcasters can produce a cube six inches on a side of gold, then cannot be used to produce gold or silver. Valyrian Steel weapons can block a Shardblade.

For purposes of response, the Warcamp may appear either (1 When Ned is appointed the King's Hand or (2 When the War of Five Kings starts. Dalinar is struck my an odd urge to take the throne, but may make any political manuvers he sees fit, including alliances, marriages, deception, and so forth. He may join another side in the War if he decides that he cannot seize the throne on his own.

Who wins the inevitable fights? Who hates whom?

BONUS ROUND: Jasnah, Shallan, Szeth, and Wit come too. What happens now?

If Wit comes in, he might just lose it when he sees the type of people who inhabit Westeros. He might not kill them, but they won't be happy with what he does to them.

This is no contest. Just the presence of Fabrials alone means that the Alethi will win any seige contest because they have no need of supply lines. The Alethi have magic on their side. No one in Westeros does (at least not openly).

Only possible contest I would question is whether a Shardblade could touch the Red Woman's shadow creatures.

I doubt very much that Dalinar would try to take the throne directly though. He's too smart and too loyal to the idea of inheritance for that. I think of anyone he would have allied with Renly and tried to place himself in an advisory capacity (probably Hand of the King). Renly had the best army and unlike EVERYONE ELSE was actually liked by the people. Stannis had the discipline that Dalinar would have respected, but I think he would have seen his refusal to budge on anything as a worrying sign of tyranny that he wouldn't want to support.

This is where my question comes in. Could a Kingsguard with a Shardbearer have saved Renly from the shadow? Stannis would have been wiped out on the battlefield that next morning without that strike. If yes, then they would have gone on to slaughter Stannis' armies and beseiged King's landing quite successfully. If not, I think they probably would have gone north to side with Rob and likely ended up slaughtered at the Red Wedding with everyone else important.

I think Dalinar would ally himself with Stannis as he is the older brother..... Dalinar does not care if a king is well liked or even if he is competent, as long as the law of heredity are followed.... So Stannis it is.

A Song of Ice and Fire, Book 9: A Typhoon of Judgement

Summary: Only three people came through the Portal on that plateau. An Assassin, a Herald, and a Wanderer.

Nale, Herald of Justice looks down on this world of corruption and sin and Judges them Guilty.

He sentences them to trial by combat. The entire world against one man with a blade. The newly reforged Skybreaker, Szeth, and his righteous blade,

Nightblood

. And so every single criminal was destroyed.

And Hoid is okay with it because Nale gave him the dragons.

And they live happily ever after. The End.

Shallan and Jasnah read books. Dalinar tries to unite westeros. Hoid becomes hand of the king. Adolin duels people betting his shards against their land/loyalty. Kaladin gets thrown in prison and becomes depressed. Szeth runs around killing any character you might like.
