Hey there, 17th-sharders. You can see my username on the left side of my post (lil_literalist for the lazy people). I've been a fan of Sanderson ever since my sister got me the Mistborn box set for Christmas a few years ago. Although I've lurked around a bit, I'm finally going to start contributing. I've read most of Sanderson's work, except for Alcatraz (yeah, it's on my summer reading list), and some annotations and interviews and the like. Pleased to meet you.

Hm, you seem to enjoy warning people about the admins... Personal experience?

Anyway, I'd probably have to say that TWoK is my favorite so far, with Mistborn a close second. My posting on these forums will probably reflect that pretty closely. I only read Elantris one time, and that was several years ago, so I don't remember much of that.

As a side note, my sister almost named my niece Siri after the princess in Warbreaker, but then Apple came out with their own Siri, so she changed the name.

She could have named her Sisirinah, which is Siri's full name. That's a bit too odd though. Anyway welcome to 17th Shard! I hope you'll like it here. Also Joe definitely has some experience with the admins spiking people. That's how they made Joe a Worldbringer. Occasionally he summons enough will to warn the new members to escape, before the admins reassert their control. It's probably because he has less spikes allowing him to warn others like TenSoon warned Sazed that he was about to strangle him.
