Just rp ig- whatever you want just keep it PG 13 ^_^

Welcome to the Shard! We're glad your here!

There's no need to give the rp a rating, we have a specific rating for the entire rp forum outlined in this thread. Pretty much everything is already pg-13 (ish), so no need to worry about things getting more intense. You could outline if you wanted the rp's content to be cleaner (less violence, etc.), if you wanted too.

Rp's also generally need something to kick them off and get things started, even if it's just a simple character introduction.

ish indeed.

TLT is a prime example of ish leaning into higher ratings.

Oh, yeah I wasn't trying to say that you shouldn't do a rating or that everything had to be under one rating, just that the basic default rating for the whole forum was already around p-13, which is what they were going for.

Sorry, I probably just made things more confusing. Knowing me, I  wrote my first post while sleep deprived lol ^_^

Welcome to the shard!

Dream woke. But did he? He looked down at the right hand, the mark of a dreamer was there. So this was true. As a dreamer, he obligated to record his dreams to the minister. However the minister was dead. And the dreams kept coming real. Or they were always real. But then were they dreams in the first place? No, dream knew the answer. They weren’t. He had been told long ago by an old man that dreams weren’t only visions. They were travels to other places. Dream walked out of his room.

A strange pattern of tattoos made out of small diamonds in a shape akin to a lily pad appears on Dream’s arm. Hello, Dream thinks, despite not consciously trying to think it, more like the thought just appeared in his head.

Tenari crept across the roof of the Palace of Ministers. It was several hours past second sunset, though the light of the Far Moon was bright that night, so she had no trouble seeing. The light did mean she had to be careful about being spotted, which was annoying, though the tight black jumpsuit she wore was instilled with magic to keep eyes off her. Assuming she was careful enough.

She was on a mission. Members of her organization, the White Phoenix, had assassinated the Minister of Control only three days before. The government, the Ministers of the country of Shen'ir, were corrupt. And this was only the beginning.

However, the Minister of Control had a Dreamer. And Dreamers were powerful tools. Even if this one's original master had died, another Minister would claim him. And Tenari couldn't let that happen.

She found a window and pulled out a dagger, using its blade to shatter it. She didn't care if she left evidence; this was going to be a quick job.

Tenari ducked inside the Palace of Ministers and went to find her target.

No, this is real! The tattoo had shown up in many of Dream's dreams, but... his mark was on his arm. This is real. Dream started to panic. I cant do this right now. I am already not where I am supposed to be! There were supposed to be guards. Too many of them. maybe 30, but he had given them the slip. there was supposed to be some sort of target on him. But that was for the politicians to do. Where are these guards! they are supposed to find me!

Who are you? the tattoo makes Dream think. You were chosen by me to be the First Recipient. I must learn of you and your life.

Whoa Whoa Whoa this is getting confusing because if it is like dream thinking this, then he is also addressing the tattoo, and wouldn't feel like he is being addressed.

Sorry, my phrasing was pretty confusing. I meant that the tattoo was telepathically inserting thoughts into Dream’s mind. Dream can realise that the thoughts didn’t come from him, and is likely intelligent enough to realize that they came from the tattoo.

Ah, but you see, I have come just to ask you my question. I must know everything about you. If you must, you may refer to me as Lily. The tattoo moves up Dream’s arm, stopping at his wrist.

(Once again, apologizing for my misinformed nitpicking at the start, I still feel kind of bad about that)

I can be a target if you want

Minister Soriya stood at her window. It was late, and she should be sleeping, but she found there was far too much on her mind.

Her fine robes swished as she leaned against the frame, gazing at the stars. Her long black hair picked up a slight breeze. Everything felt so much simpler at night. The stars didn't argue politics or require compromises.

She felt almost free. Of her duties, and her worries.

And yet there were some things one just could not ignore. The Minister of Control, gone so quickly. This country was truly starting to collapse as predicted. Soriya almost felt excitement for the start of a new era, yet a part of her knew that the old one would drag her down with it.

Survive . . . what could she do to survive?

Tenari slunk through the dark, ornate halls of the palace, trusting her suit's distortion field to keep her unseen. Her heart pounded with tension. She shoved it down. No time to be nervous.

She looked down at the talisman on her wrist. An ornate piece of metal, forged in an image of a star. Or perhaps a flower. Tenari had never been sure. It was tied to a thick band of red fabric that looped around her right wrist. That talisman is what would let her wield her magic. Assuming it came to that, which she hoped it wouldn't.

Ducking past a guard patrol, Tenari continued her way until she reached the Dreamer's quarters.

Dream arrived at his building. Supposedly it belonged to him, but it really was run by him priests. He snuck through the same back door he had gone out earlier. He started up the stairs to the top floor of his room.

There he was.

With a quick bound, Tenari leapt forward and swept the Dreamer's feet out from underneath him with her leg. She whipped her dagger out of it's sheath and went to stab it into his throat.

Dream got the top. End of freedom. He thought. He heard footsteps. A guard. That is fine. However before he knew it he was in the ground. “Wait—“ he cried.

Tenari hesitated. Dream had a good look at her face; light brown skin, wavy black hair tied up in an intricate bun, and striking violet eyes.

"Why should I? You're just as corrupt as the ones you serve, aren't you?"

Saved my life...43 times? What in the name of Aleteri is he talking about?

"I know that you, at least, were the servant of the Minster of Control. The one we killed, to prevent his corrupt acts from ending any more lives."
