Reborn-Augustus Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Hello everyone and Brandon Sanderson especially Well I would like to say hello to all the fans out there that have experienced brandons writings. My histoy with Brandon, I got to say after Robert Jordan I was very saddened and was spectable of a different writer taking up the end of Jordans project. I thought well I dont have to read the end as The Wheel of Time is timeless and I can let my Imagination run with it. Plus I was worried that a new writer wouldnt be able to deliver the reason Wheel of Time was so great. THE CHARACTERS. I fell in love with those characters and was scared of how someone else can put them on paper. Well I had high hopes and worry but I got to tell everyone I was pleased indeed. In fact I starting to think how Brandon took the story in all its events and actually started to conclude was very good indeed. And also my main worry was how he was gonna write Matt, as he is the most sporadic character but Brandon did a great job with him especially about the letter Matt sends to Elayne was so fantastic and I knew Brandon sanderson was the man for the job. As it was in front of me I can say much more praise for his taking up the Wheel of the Time, I wouldnt have the room. After that I was hooked with his style of writing. So far I have read everything Brandon has writted except for Warbreaker which im reading right now. I do have to say, so far the Mistoborn trilogy is by far my favorite of his original work. *spoiler* very bold to kill off so many key characters! very good BRAVO!

You certainly aren't the only of us who had been introduced to Brandon from the Wheel of Time I have to agree with you, Mistborn is my favorite of his. As for me, I'm Chaos, the forum admin. I spend waaaay too much time here and you'll see lots of me. I hope to see you around the boards!

Gela Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Good to see you here! My favorite of Brandon's is actually Warbreaker because it mixed drama with comedy so well. I also got into him because of the Wheel of Time, so you're not alone there, haha.

Reborn-Augustus Posted March 5, 2012 Author Posted March 5, 2012 (edited) I have noticed Eric "chaos" I beleive gets around @Gela Yes im 300 pages in and Lightsong is quite the protaganist. A very sacrastic fella. Plus the mercenaries is worth the God of Bravery's time I think they would get along who knows maybe they will oh how Brandon likes to invoke twists!
