The is a puzzle where you start with one word, and your goal is to get to another word of the same length while keeping all changes of one letter at a time, still a word. 
For example: Bird to Mare

The problem is that it isn’t always possible, so the objective isn’t to reach a specific words, but a specific number lettered word. This means that in addition to changing letters, well, in replacement of a turn, you can do one or the other, you can add a letter. A one letter word to a five letter word:
