At least, that’s what several people were thinking as they regretted what they’d done to their poor hungry caterpillar who’d gladly been friends with all of them.

Pylenia was still very much alive, and she was planning a way to break free.

No one regretted it. Pilly was a very bad caterpillar. She had broken laws. She was naughty. She was evil.

Pilly hadn’t even been aware there were laws.

Pylenia, however, knew very well. She ravaged the little world inside her globe anyway, gleefully becoming its sole ruler.

Except the earth was a barren wasteland. There was no one else there. Pilly was aware of the laws. She was told to apologize. And she didn't. Pylenia felt lonely as there was no one else in her little world. It began to rain gumdrops and lemon drops upon Pylenia.

Canada went back to worshipping Red... and drinking Maple Syrup, now that the monstrous caterfly Pillyenia was locked away safely in an impenetrable snow globe. She did miss her friend Pully the caterpillar though. If only they hadn't hurt the poor trees, she thought sadly.
