For one thing, he started being blunt and to the point, which is unusual among elves. He also started becoming more in tune with nature than other elves, and following the teachings of Nendawen. For elves, this was highly unusual, as Nendawen was a beast in many elves eyes, his teachings only suitable for humans and lesser species. Striax refused to listen to the cammands of his elders to stop following Nendawen, so he was banished from his tribe. As he wandered the land Hwilan, the current Hand of the Hunter and Chosen of Nendawen came to him. She offered him a choice: To stay wandering Faerun or to enter a portal that had been hidden underground and explore the new world for Nendawen. Striax's restless heart told him to explore the new realm, and so he accepted. But as he entered the underground portal, an earthquake was triggered and the portal was crushed right after Striax entered it. The portal on the new side was also crushed, so Striax has been exploring and kind of looking for another portal in this new world. Striax is an easygoing elf so the exile hasn't been to hard on him. This part: Base Speed: 30'/roundTotal Encumbrance: 37 lb. - [ heavy Load] Normal Speed: X'/round-not sure how encumbrance affects it Because you have a 14 strength, youre currently carrying a light load. Your weight capacities are: Light: 58 lb. or less Medium: 59-116 lb. Heavy: 117-175 lb. And carrying capacities work sort of like armor in terms that they determine your max dex, skill check penalties, and speed. That is, you take the worse of the two, so if you're wearing armor that provides a worse bonus, you ignore the weight capacity penalties, and vice versa. The penalties for medium and heavy are (no penalties for light): Medium: Max Dex +3, check penalty -3 Heavy: max dex +1 check penalty -6 and then there's some speed reduction stuff too, which you can find here

Otherwise, if it was your modifier, you would need at least 20 strength to even pick up full plate armor, and that alone would fully encumber you

Not to mention a negative modifier! Afterall, 12 and 13 have a max load of 10 pounds. Keep in mind that 10 is supposed to be the "average human"
