neverearth
That's the one with the firespren, right? (I don't have my book right now.) That'sw the one I thought was the important discovery. I think the only other person in the Interludes who made any kind of discovery is Axies, but I'm pretty sure alespren won't have "long-lasting ramifications." Dryone
It might be the mechanism how spren can be caught in gemstones. Also reminds me of lasers.

Ryan
She discovered what I jokingly call Gerenid's Certainty Principle. Namely, that measuring and recording an attribute of a spren fixes the spren in the measured state. It's like the opposite of Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle. Andrew the Great
I propose that Gerenid's Certainty Principle be voted into the canon as the official name for stated principle. All in favor?
Kykeon
I propose that Gerenid's Certainty Principle be voted into the canon as the official name for stated principle. All in favor? I am. Maybe that could be the basis for a spell and ceremony-based magic system? Cymatics play a role in the world, so a combination of sound and symbols might yield useful effects (even though it would probably be used mainly for 'slow' tasks like protection with the more active roles fall to those with innate abillities). Do you see what I see?
