The Professor's Journal
Day 1: Upon arriving at the giant’s camp, I was immediately struck by the militaristic organization. I wasn’t surprised, but I was struck by its efficiency. No one was lazing about, as there was always something to be done. The discipline shown by these savages is incredible. Dinner time was a marvel. They tore into their food with great gusto. I was given the smallest plate they had, albeit it was just as large as a sapling tree. The fork took two hands to use, and the portions were enormous. I was unable to continue eating, the portions were so large. Eventually, a grizzled giant with kind eyes took my plate from me. He gave my leftovers to some eager young teenage-looking giants. They had the most enormous muscles, and still towered over me, despite being a mere 8 feet tall. As I write this now, I watch two of them during a spar. They hit with incredible speed and force. It’s almost mesmerizing. This will be an interesting venture…

I don't know, just like more in depth about the story itself? Up to you :)

A man in a dark hat stood, and leaned up against a grimy wall. It wasn’t the action that caused me to stumble, it was the knife gleaming in the dim light as he stood. He fingered it quietly, not even flinching when he cut himself on the blade. I sat down, trying to appear undeterred. The man spoke first, while I was trying to formulate words.
“What do you want?” His low rumbling baritone intonation shook me. I opened my mouth, my voice squeaking embarrassingly. I cleared my throat.
“I need help,” I said evenly, trying not to reveal my terror. The man just grinned.
“So you need an in?” He intoned. I simply nodded.
“Fine,” he smiled wider than a normal person should. “It’ll cost you something. The first thing you feel you cannot give, you must give to me.” I again nodded. “Agreed” I said. I never intended to have that happen to me. Destiny, like always, has other plans for me.

this has probably been done before, but I got this idea where someone is slowly becoming mad. and they know it. and they desperately try to fight it up until the very end.

Oo! Write it!

…I might also try to write that at some point, insanity is so fun.

Understanding

Spoiler

I will never understand

why people are mean

why they rip people down

to make themselves tall

I refuse to understand

why people disobey their parents

on simple things

I can not understand

why people cheat

to give themselves

a better grade

and sell their souls.

Spoiler

Iskavander Aurelius III was not having a good day. It wasn’t even noon yet, and he’d been shot at by every projectile imaginable, hit by at least 3 different bullets, and had lost his shifter weapon. To make matters worse, that stupid Japanese-American sheriff was after him, and jail was somewhere he really did not need or want to go to. He had stolen 1 bag of cash from some back-country bank, and now he had some of the most elite coming after his butt. He dives as a bullet whizzes past his ear, then flaps his way up another couple of meters. He danced with the wind, whooping like a mad man while trying to double back for his weapon, but to no avail. He kept going, fleeing to the mountains. Looks like he was spending the night in the mountains with the outlaw camp, like any normal day.

Tenjii was having an odd, but not unwelcome day. At the current moment, he had 5 different foreigners shouting at him in a language he was passable in, and he praised his acting skills in silence as the people in front of him yelled at him, some threateningly. Yeah, today was weird, but it likely couldn’t get weirder, right?

Iskav dove towards the tree, coming up just short to knock on the trunk three times, sighing in relief as the barrier lifted to see the absolutely delicious woman that was Ragged Ruina. Her curves were lightly accentuated by her outfit, and he knew that she could run any guy or gal ragged in a race. So, of course, it was a massive surprise when Ruina wrapped him up in hug and a kiss. Not that he was complaining, of course. But life was weird like that. He didn’t feel the cold press of the muzzle of the flintlock pressed against his chest. He didn’t notice the wicked smile on her face. All he heard was a gunshot and felt a massive amount of pain. Maybe today wasn’t his day.

Tenjii raised an eyebrow as he felt… something ripple through the air. He sighs. “Dammit Iskav, why do you gotta do this to me? Sealed to a tree? How cliché. Honestly, at least be sealed more interestingly,” and he motions to the five sitting in front of his stall, responding in their language to follow him.

Iskav really did not like the explosive pain that erupted in his stomach. He looked down in shock to see the muzzle of a flintlock pistol pressed up against him, stained with his blood. Ruina smiled wickedly, not an ounce of regret in her eyes. “And this is why men are so stupid and weak,” she mutters to him. “They see a pretty face and that’s all they can think about. Women can be strong too, you know.” With that parting shot, she walks away, and Iskav is stuck to the tree, unable to move, but becoming more and more sleepy as time goes on. A sealing bullet? Seriously? I thought that family had… he never gets to finish the thought as he lulls into the sealing power and is shut away.

With the annoyed shouts of his new traveling companions, he trekked through the wilderness. By the end of the first day, both of the girls looked fairly tired, but their companions were not as much. Out of respect for the girls, he begins setting up camp, whistling a happy tune. Soon, the red-robed half demon walked over to help. He continued whistling as he put up poles for his tent. The half demon began to speak, in a growly, almost angry voice. “Alright, you ass. Listen here,” and here Tenjii holds up a finger. “No, you listen to me. Gather your companions, it tis time for a story,” he says in a kind timbre. The half demon stares at him blankly for a moment, before calling to his friends. “HEY! YALL! THIS IDIOT WANTS TO TELL US A STORY BEFORE WE RETIRE”
