The initial spearmen in the front of the small lightning line held no chance of survival. They were butchered as the captain watched nervously. The messenger came back to him and whispered to his ear. The captain nodded, dismissing him. 
“STOP!” With a magically powerful voice he shouted at the top of his lungs. 
 

 

 

Dragon stomped on the Lightlings. This was too easy. He shrunk back into his human form and pulled a sword from his waist. It glowed of fire and power.

“STOP!” 

Dragon paused as he heard the voice.

 

”I would like to negotiate!” The captain callled nervously.

Weaver silently summoned his scythe. Black smoke wreathed his body, his face hidden, hands pale and skeletal. 

"Negotiate? One does not negotiate with fate." His voice was soft, but seemed to echo from every direction.

"How do we know this is not a trap?" Arranis yells out. His swords still out by his sides, and he breathes out the air in front of him crystallising from the sheer investiture that was present.

"I..um...am Wilflower" Arranis says not wanting to give his name in case he had gotten into trouble her before. When you travel the multiverse the worlds all seem the blend together.
