Healing poison with aluminum

Could a Mistborn burn aluminum to get rid of poisonous metals like lead, mercury, arsenic, etc.?

Only for metals that are on the allomantic chart and can be burned by a mistborn. Other metals like Mercury wont burn.  

That being said, he's toying with a retcon that  Mistborn dont actually have to worry about Metal Poisoning, at least for the allomantically active metals:
