Every town within 200 Km of where I am cancelled or postponed their fireworks due to rain. What do you celebrate on Canada Day? (I'm Aussie) In it's simplest form, it's basically the Canadian version of Independence Day in the States. It celebrates the day Canada officially became it's own country, rather than a collection of British colonies. (Sort of. It's a little more complicated than that, but that's the gist of it.)
