hello, i'm new here but been a fan of brandon an his works since 2016. first read the mistborn trilogy and TWoK and WoR in my native language, then switched to english as the translations were definitely not keeping up with brandon's flow and pace, as well as (this is based off my current reread) not being as good as the english versions (which i've since acquired and have almost finished). it seems it would be a good time to join now, especially as i will begin reading tress the next few days and have only been active on reddit up until now

Yes, i definitely do, i love Wayne from Mistborn era 2, i find his personality really fun, his demeanor, his jokes and style just fit for that period, and i love the fact that he's one of the most changed characters during the entirety of the 2nd series (TLM included) just great overall

i enjoyed his evolution from what he was in the alloy of law to what he has become in TLM 

a second fav next to Wayne would definitely be kaladin - i've sometimes struggled with depression when certain events happened within my life, and seeing it so accurately depicted has impacted me a lot and has also somewhat helped in a therapeutical way, if i can say so

 i definitely find most of the characters interesting at the very least (maybe less so for Raoden)

what's your favorite? if you do have one that is

Aes Sedai: ahh they are quite good in my native tongue for it to be so handily available here (i believe row is almost translated, and the lost metal was already translated but is in the editing process now) but nothing beats mr sanderson''s prose in his og language!

Cinnamon: what an iinteresting question, i do have some valuables that wayne might consider flashy (like all the rbg stuff on my pc) but i ddo believe he would trade me for my beanie, being that it's an interesting hat for him (unsure whether in era two there are any beanies around), i've worn it for like 10 years so it would have a lot of personality for him to imbue  

 

side note: does anyone know if it is possible to set up notifications to go through my phone whenever i receive a reply? thanks in advance!

Sadly, there isn’t a way to get notifications on your phone but you can get notifications from Chrome when you’re in the browser and you have the tabs open. You can also get email notifications sent to you and you can probably set up a notifications every time you get an email. To mess around with that stuff go to Account>Account settings> notification settings.
