So, everyone is headed North...

The first few minutes carry you along and out of town into the forest. Some trees are knocked down in their entirety. But as you carry on you see a massive ancient building... Seemingly dropped from above fitting neatly into its crater. If you keep a standard pace while walking to this you will take 1d4 piercing damage for every 15ft you walk in a turn. due to the fractured trees spread through the clearing. Samarin you feel something pulling on you, moreover your magic...

Samarin frowns. "Anyone else feel... weird?"

Sure

I rolled a 16.

I would also like to stay out of the stabbing zone, then chuck a rock at the rock.

Okay as the rock flies following a normal path, it slows in the air and floats lightly about 20 feet from the massive building. Anyone who was looking at the rock make a spot check.
Also I would like to point out that the massive thing that fell from the sky is 50ft in diameter and the building is a tower that is 300 feet tall built on terraces with large trees digging through the buildings. Every building is of a greyish tan stone with deep red wood tying things together. This is built of pillars and arches with windows covering every building. Where it feel once was a lake, upon landing a huge plume of water coated the clearing, in addition it splintered trees as it came down. The ground is mud covering many small sticks. You all are about 100 feet away from the base of it. There is a 10ft tall wall of mud surrounding the whole edge.

Is there any way to cut or burn the thorns?

Yeah, though walking carefully and slowly would be quicker.

In that case, Samarin will carefuly shimmy through the thicket.

Okay. You are able to get there in a few minutes without much stabbing.

So where is "there," anyways?

The castle from the sky. You feel a tug from this whole city / tower.

You too can go through the thicket without dying because of foot wounds. Now at the castle thing you can enter the base of it...

"ADVENTURE!!!!"

Your voice rings out and echos strangely, thin lines of light run across window sills.
