Prasanna Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Hi, Who Is Harmony ? (Is it Sazed and is he a god?) In the 18th Chapter, Where Wax is wounded, a voice speaks to him(is it harmony) asking him whether he is divine ? If it is harmony speaking to Wax , then why he is asking if Wax is divine ? I don't understand this part. Ironeyes who speaks to Marasi in the epilogue asking her to give a book to Wax, is it Marsh ? (if its Marsh, I thought he was dead in Mistorn Trilogy 3). Guys, please reply to my questions. It is giving me headache.
MindCanaries Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Ironeyes is Marsh. Marsh has the same powers as the Lord Ruler, and so can use the same tricks to attain immortality (compounding atium). Sazed is indeed Harmony, and it is him speaking to Wax during that section. He isn't actually asking him that, he's just being rhetorically to get Wax to arrive at the conclusion that he needs to reach in order to press on and defeat Miles.
Silus - Shard of Flame he/him Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Yes, Harmony is Sazed, yes, he is a god. Harmony and Wax are having a conversation, so there's alternating lines of thought text for each one speaking. Yes, it's Marsh. No, he didn't die, he could heal from his injuries and has atium allomancy and feruchemy so he's immortal. Yes, we need a spoiler tag on this thread. 1
FeatherWriter she/her Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 For those who really catch the reference, way back in the first book, Marsh's nickname was Ironeyes waaaaaaayy before he became an Inquisitor. It turned out to be somewhat of a prophetic nickname.
