"Maybe, but I just don't know enough about movement in this dimension. I can't comprehend where it is. If I could see the location, I could travel to it, but just knowing what it looks like isn't enough, especially since I've never been there."

"Well, just try your best. Are you ready to make a gateway?"

Nameless nodded, drawing in saidin and attempting to form the weave for a gateway. After a few moments, he shook his head. "Sorry, I can't make a gateway to the Chamber. Let me try something else." A gateway snaps open in front of him, revealing an empty hallway. "That works then. I can make a gateway to places we've been before."

TAAron frowned. "Does that help us at all?"

"Not really, sorry."

Lerac looked thoughtful. "Maybe if we made loud enough music, we could make them take us there just so we'd stop."

Ignoring the life magician, TAAron asked, "Nameless, why did you say that this place is so dangerous? Right now, it seem like the only danger is getting trapped in here until we run out of water."

"Well, the Finn haven't started trying to kill us by force yet."

"Oh. And when and why would that start happening?"

"When they decide they can't trick us into getting ourselves killed."

"Well, they haven't tried very hard to do that yet. Maybe that's a good sign?"

"Maybe. Or maybe they're just waiting for us to walk into a trap, or get split up."

"What kind of traps could there be? So far, everything is just a blank hallway."

"Well, we could find some kind of room where they can ambush us. I don't remember any traps in the book, just confusing maze stuff. You know, I really should brush up on the book. Been too long since I read it."

"Should we keep on moving, then?"

I guess unless something is going to happen, we maybe could time skip?

After walking for a while, TAAron spoke up. "This is pointless. We should just give up." The tone of his voice was off, but only subtly.

Nameless sighed, coming to a halt and leaning against the wall next to him. "You're right. We probably should stop for a while. It's about lunchtime, isn't it? And also Malum, could you chill and leave us alone? We're kinda busy here."

TAAron/Malum smiled wickedly. "Ah, you got me. So, how goes it with the healing of souls and such?"

"Very well, actually. Could you leave TAAron alone until we heal his soul? I'd rather dislike having to stab my friend with his own trident."

"Oh, it's not like that. Believe me, if I could attack you now, I would. I saw what you did with that life magician, by the way. It was rather impressive." His voice was calm, but not relaxed.

"You kept him alive. I try my best not to let that happen. You make it easy for me it when you annihilated the other one."

"Not at all." TAAron's face took on a mockingly mournful expression. "Beloved husband and father of two. Poor man. But alas, these things happen."

"If I'd had another option besides balefire, I would feel quite sad about it."

"There were several other options. Let me kill you. Let me take TAAron. Instead, you kill a man. For what? A delay?"
