Edema Rue she/her Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 I love that!! They're not mine but they look so good 1
Telrao she/her Posted April 2, 2023 Author Posted April 2, 2023 Sooo... haven't finished the other two commissions yet (I'm so SO sorry, guys) so have a few random sketches to keep y'all entertained! Spoiler Rand al'Thor Sketch Spoiler I have not seen any official art of Rand, so this is my "unpolluted" mental picture of him Lioness Sketch Spoiler This is actually some preparatory work for Wizard's next commission - just kinda working with proportions and poses (Note: The actual cat will look more like a ragdoll than a lion) Kitty sketch! Spoiler I drew this in church a coupla months ago and thought it was really cute! So yeee! Ta da! Welp, there y'all go! Schoolwork has eased up a l'il bit, so I can take a breather and get those commissions done! Have a wonderful day/night/whatevertime, everyone! - Telrao 3
Szeth's Facepalm Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 Your cattos are so cute :OOO I'm curious, do you draw dogs? And if so, are you still accepting commissions? 1

I'm currently working on Wizard's and Shallan's, and I'm aiming on getting both of those done in ~ 4-5 days. So yours would most likely be done in ~1-2 weeks (depending on what schoolwork I have at the mo) Feel free to throw it at me, though! I'm happy to take it... just expect it to be a while before I get it done 1

Telrao she/her Posted January 10, 2025 Author Posted January 10, 2025 Hello, art humans! Wow, been a while, so it's time to dust off this thread! My art has definitely improved during the time that has passed, so if any of y'all would like me to redo old commissions/ actually do the ones I never managed to get to, let me know! Note: I will post some sketches later, I promise! 2

Telrao she/her Posted January 12, 2025 Author Posted January 12, 2025 (edited) Alllrighty y'all! As promised, some sketchies! I had to go through not one but TWO sketchbooks to gather these, but it was pretty fun to see my progression over time - and I think you guys will enjoy it too! I'm picking the highlights of my sketchbooks, because most pages are just chaotic scribbles tryna figure out how to draw things I've decided to catagorise these by year, so that the progression is easier to see 2023 Spoiler Sketchies! Spoiler (I apologise for the low picture quality - my computer was giving me some sass, so I had to resort to screenshots *shrugs* This boi is from my Tales of Lianur story - though I have decided to drop it, as some of the worldbuilding I did for it has been subsumed by another book This one (below) is of a character in a Dystopian novel I'm working on. You'll see her pop up again I read White Sand (Prose) - it was actually really good! This was one of my favourite scenes (if not THE favourite) from The Wheel of Time. (Just don't look too closely at the horse...) It took me five months to read the entire series, and BOY was that an adventure! Once a decade read, for sure. This character is from a book my brother started writing. He hasn't finished it (I don't know if he will) but it was REALLY GOOD! Khol is the main protagonist of the story. DRAGGOONNN Aaand the sketch below is a rough one, done on scrap paper for funzies. I'm thinking of redoing it with actual ink, in celebration of the completion of Wind and Truth, but idk Actual artwork (Wow!!) Spoiler As a couple of you might remember, I did Art Creative Practice in Year 11 as an accelerated subject. Here's some linocut and the final piece! Linocutting Spoiler Decidedly one of the most satisfying things I have ever done... Final Print! Spoiler I printed this on the DAY IT WAS DUE and that was one of the most stressful experiences of my life... but hey, I got it done! 2024 Spoiler I dropped off with art a lot, cuz Year 12, but honestly, 2024 was an awesome year! Sketchies! Spoiler This one was when I got Covid in the SECOND WEEK OF SCHOOL (thank you, Year 12 Camp). We had a blast, but REALLY??? Some random sketches: Some sketches I did as practice for an artwork I was making for a friend: MANDOOOO!!! I'm not obsessed, you're obsessed! This is a drawing inspired by my favourite Psalm - good ol' number 19. I definitely recommend a read of it, if you're interested! And just in case you were beginning to think I was actually an artist: Watercolour! Spoiler I made a watercolour for my Grandma as a Christmas Present... and unsurprisingly forgot to take a picture of the final product. So have a coupla practice ones 2025 Spoiler Sketchies! Spoiler Half of the front page of my 2025 sketchbook Some random practice This idea had been bouncing around my brain for a while - I have the feeling this will become a series. I definitely will redo this page if it does become one More practice - sketching with different perspectives is SUPER useful, I definitely recommend! (Definitely NOT still obsessed with Mandalorians shhhh) And finally, a sketch of Leeta! There are drawings of her elsewhere in this topic. I decided to revisit her and actually try and figure out how both wings as forelegs on a mammal would work - my answer: not really but maybe? Research inconclusive... Whew! We made it! Thanks for viewing my artful mayhem Hopefully, I'll be able to do a fortnightly post with sketches and perhaps some actual art for y'all to see. God bless! Edited January 12, 2025 by Telrao 4

Edema Rue she/her Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 AAAAHHHH I LOVE THEM And I love our darling Matrim Cuathon (even though I can’t tell what scene it is) I agree though, it’s my favorite once a decade (or less!) series. The horse improvement especially is absolutely dazzling, and I love linocutting! I haven’t done it in…ah…4 years? But it was so fun and yours is so detailed, I’m actually awed anyway love you 1
