The author wrote them in Danish, but she translated them into English herself. In it, a girl inherited the ability to make people feel ashamed just by looking them in the eyes. Kind of like shamefiller's lenses, except it doesn't make them explode. I can't tell you much more since I tend to forget books shortly after reading them.
