yeah, there should be.

Brandon said that if he ever gets time to write The Silence Divine(Ashyn novella) that it would take place at about the same time as Stormlight book 8. that's always subject to change though as it hasn't been written yet

I think he said something about flying cities and symbiotic magic systems during the time after Ashyn’s Surgebinding-based destruction, so yeah, there probably are people, and they’re probably awesome.
