Yerland Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 If a sufficiently bonded Knight radiant were to become strongly invested in another shard's investiture would that corrupt the spren they are bonded to in a similar fashion to what was attempted against the sibling in Uritheru? For example, if Kaladin got a Ierasium bead, would Syl be transformed into some preservation/honor spren hybrid? Also while yes Hoid is bonded to a spren and seeming hasn't done this despite his extreme level of investiture. However first of all we don't know what ideal Hoid is, its possible he isn't bonded strong enough to the spren to corrupt it. Secondly Hoid has alot of knowledge and experience working with the cosmere magic systems. If anyone would have the required knowledge to keep his spren separated from his other investitures it would be him. I could easily see someone with less experience or knowledge accidentally transforming their spren.
