Can I read the novellas out of order?

I've read the three Skyward novels, and now I want to read the novellas, but the later novellas may be available to me before the first. Does it matter what order I read them in?

Yes. Each builds off of the previous. It really is easier to consider them as being a novel in three parts rather than three separate novellas.
