When hemalurgy is used to grant an something to a creature, it warps them in some way. Spikes that grant powers only seem to change the individual enough to not kill them by ramming a chunk of metal into their body, but attributes granted via hemalurgy seem to change people and creatures enough to create hemalurgic constructs.

Kandra, however, don't seem to be changed much by hemalurgic attributes being given to them, so that got me wondering; would a siah aimian or other shapeshifter be able to receive a kandra blessing without being twisted into a hemalurgic construct?

Could a siah aimian's shapeshifting ability be stolen via hemalurgy, then allow a human to gain kandra blessings with less consequence?

We don't know much about Siah Aimians but yes, you probably can steal their shape-shifting ability. Hemalurgy can steal magical attributes just as well as Invested Arts.

Hmm... I would say it's more that a Kandra's fluid form means they just side-step the physical mutations. It would depend on the extent of the Siah Aimians' shape-shifting ability in comparison to the Kandra to say how useful that'd be but we don't know much about them. And even Kandra do get twisted by Hemalurgy. Paalm was nearly insane and was probably heavily under the control of Trell.

Hemalurgy rips parts of one's Spiritweb, you can't shape-shift that away.

I suppose you can't shape-shift away the soul-piercing aspect of using hemalurgy, but I was just thinking about it in a "I kind of would like to get a constant, reliable boost to my strength, or intelligence, but would also kind of like to not turn into a skinless shambling mound of fleshy parts at the same time" kind of way.
