The rest of the world does day/month/year (which makes so more sense, smallest to largest). Making today 11/12/21. The 12th of last month would have been 12/11/21 though. However, most of us are Americans so yep. Happy palindrome day! Hi @Prettycooolguy. Welcome to the shard!

No. It does not make more sense. First of all, we don't say 11th December 2021, we say December 11th 2021. Secondly, time doesn't go from smallest period to largest period as a rule: we do h:m:s, not s:m:h. Thirdly, m/d/y is smallest to largest if you count the number of possible options for each: 12 possible months, 31 possible days, 100 possible last 2 digits of the year. (And h:m:s also goes the same direction, albeit not when combined: 12/24, 60, 60.) And 12/11/21 is a palindrome regardless of whether you think it refers to December 11th or November 12th as a date.

Very valid points. I never considered those, but now I think I’m going to start using the American system again.
Aeternum Posted December 12, 2021 Posted December 12, 2021 Good evening currently and welcome to the Shard! Who's your least favorite character?

Who says December 11th 2021? In my country if you say it like that you'll be laughed at. For us it's 11th December. Or 11th of December. But you never put the month first. Also. Welcome to the Shard @Prettycooolguy
