The Damsel In Distress
In this case, it's not exactly what I've drawn that matters, but what I have to say.
Quote... Narrator Pheonix stood stiff and statuesque. Only the two lines of tears running down his face gave any indication he was alive at all.
It was a while ago, but this hit me hard. I truly cannot do this scene the justice it deserves. What really makes me angry though is that Xino's very will split reality apart.
Quote
Xino felt it. The power of this new reality, pulling threads back the way they should be. Or at least, the way it thought it should be. A groan escaped him as reality tugged, but he was not swayed. Instead, dark cracks began to appear, light tracery on the stones where he stood.
Xino screamed. "I... will... not... give... IN!" But his determination was shaking reality to the core.
Yet every single time Pheonix is ferried away, he is powerless and wordless. Unable to free himself.
And that's my rant.
