About this blog

I create a LOT of art. I've stopped uploading it all to the gallery, but I don't want to stop sharing it with you. So a blog seemed like a pretty logical step. After all, a few of you mentioned how much you like seeing my art in response to my two-year Shardiversary post. So here we are! The Shard was really where my art career exploded and it's crazy to look back at how much I've progressed. Thanks for all your support along the way. :wub: I hope you enjoy what I post here.

Keyed Anniversary

Masquerade Poster

Comfort

Well. It's done. I thought this project would take me like a month but, surprise, it didn't! Aaaaand now I'm all burned out with art. 'XD Which is unfortunate, because I've got a ton of meet-ups next month and I gotta do a lot of art for give-aways. And I say that, but I drew the bones of a drawing today in like 20 minutes. Art Announcement

Hey, everyone! I'm so glad people have liked this blog so much!  It's certainly been a joy to show my stuff off. Anyway, I'm about to finish up a sketchbook drawing and after that I'll be working on something VERY special. I plan on it taking about an entire month which is... a lot.  But it'll be worth it. Grief

I did it, you guys. I drew the moment when Maverick dies. When I first drew this, I intended to have Mav's corpse in her arms (you can see the eraser scars of his head on the left :sweat_smile:) but I think it's much more powerful this way. I just... y'all, I've come so far in my art, it's actually insane.  (Colored version spoilered for blood. )

Happy Mother's Day! Here's Arabella and Wendy from Masquerade. It was supposed to be Fadran's birthday gift - that's when I started on it - but, ah... I got a little distracted, obviously.  I'm SUPER happy with how it turned out.

Pheonix is the cutest being besides his Author, prove me wrong.  I've actually wanted to draw something like this for a long while now, actually. I had the WILD idea of Pheonix having facial hair of all things a few months ago and it was just so ridiculous I HAD to sketch it out. And... whaddya know, it was actually super cute!  It made me want to draw Mr. Blaze just as patronly as possible so here we are. If I had more room on the paper, he'd be wearing socks with sandals.

Shards, it's been a while, hasn't it? Well, I dusted off my markers today and finally finished this piece of Caden and Acalia Praetorium from Masquerade.

Here's some art I drew for my friend on her birthday. It's inspired by that one scene from WoR (I think) where Shallan draws Gaz the way that he could be, all cleaned up and noble. I drew Eliana the way I see her and I'm super proud of it.

AGH THIS IS TURING OUT SO STORMING WELL. This is a portrait of Star in Castle Celeste and I will ink and color it but it’s just looking so good already. I love how proud and full of love she looks. She is a mother and a queen and a very powerful woman and she knows it.

Rebel Girl

May I present Miss Pearl Blaze! It's a much more simple drawing than I'm used to, at least in terms of clothes (I got done with it and I was like, "... ... okay, I guess it's done now.") but I'm proud of it.  I titled it "Rebel Girl" 'cause this is when she's about 15 and just has a super sucky relationship with her mom, Star.  I cut off her feet, 'cause... Sisters

Whooo, my first post on the art blog, this is exciting!  This is Heather and Pearl, Star's daughters. Heather is 18 and she's adopted, Pearl looks like she'd be like 2 in this picture. I find this picture quite anecdotal, to be honest. Little kids, however adorable, are not my cup of tea. I'm happy to say though, that Heather and Pearl do get along pretty well eventually. Heather just needs to get used to sharing her mother.
