Oh geez...favorite book... I think I'd have to go with Mistborn. That book really hooked me into his writing style, although Alloy of Law is a close second with its ingenious use of Allomancy. I'm currently reading Word of Radiance, and the Stormlight Archive books are amazing.

Hello everyone! My name is Gerrund, and I've been slowly devouring as many Brandon Sanderson books as I can get my hands on. I'm 24, and training to become a teacher. The first book of his that I read was actually Steelheart. A student I work with asked me if I had read it, which prompted me to pick it up. After that, I went through the Mistborn novels, Elantris, Warbreaker, The Emperor's Soul, and now the Stormlight Archives. I've gotten several friends interested in his books, but I haven't been able to convince my boyfriend to give them a try. I'll keep trying, though! I just wanted to introduce myself a little bit.
