I myself was starting to wonder if the Horneaters bonded with some sort of Spren early on in life. It would explain a lot of things, especially towards the reason they seem to worship them. Does bonding with spren make you a little bit part shard?

I always assumed the God Beyond would well, be beyond. I don't think he's(Or she or it or whatever) a shard of Adonalsium. Who knows though? Only time will tell.

You can never tell what will happen in other cultures in fantasy worlds but I doubt there will ever be same-sex relationships through main characters in The Storm Light Archives, mainly because I doubt the Alethi Culture would easily accept homo-sexuality.

Anything is possible but considering that most of Sanderson's books take place in a more medival sort of time, homosexuality is probably frowned upon. If a same-sex relationship were to occur I would rather it be in the realm in the Alloy of Law where things are more "modern"

I always assumed that Hoid wasn't a Shard Bearer at all. I don't quite know exactly what Hoid is. Parts of the Theory below make sense to me. http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/6597-theory-man-made-adonalsium/ Hoid is definitely something ancient and I'm assuming it's going to be revealed in The Liar of Partnel.

I see where you're coming from, I however quite dislike most contemplation on the far future. I tend to try and finish something, then come up with question that probably won't be answered. My main problem with this is that there are so many places for more characters to pop up. In a series in which each book is 1000+ pages long, a question like this seems so silly. I guess you can say that I am quite heavily Team Unknown.

I have no "problem" I just find the whole thing a bit silly. We can contemplate but guessing this far ahead just seems, well, wrong.

No, following my logic we shouldn't theorize about what will be like characters 8 books later. But hey, let's play your game of over exagerration. Ahem. While it's fun to guess at the future, we cannot guess at the future 200 million years from now.
