  1. Day 2: Red Hat, Once White. Satrams banged the cup down on the bar. He was three cups in and wasn’t planning on stopping any time soon. There was nothing else he could do stop Odium except stay out of the way of those who could, so why not do so in comfort? He looked away from his drinks, trying to examine the room and its occupants. Lots of people were in various stages of Inebriation around the bar. Like the White haired man who kept winking at him, or the Tall Rectangle person in the corner, or the guy with Red smoke falling from his hands. None of them were looking at him, so he went back to looking at his drink. No, that’s not right. The white haired fellow was looking, right? He turned back, but no one was there. Had he ever been there? He needed to stop drinking. He pulled out his purse and dropped it on the bar, and stumbled away, grabbing that white hat he had woken up in. About half way across the room, he tripped over the floor, and fell on his face. Something landed on his shoulder, and pulled him up. “Hey fiend, you need some help getting home?” Satrams turned his blurry vision over to face the man. It turned out to be the man with the smoky hands. “Uh, sure. Gotta get back home, yeah.” It felt rather hard to talk. How much had he drunk anyway? Surely it wasn’t enough to impair him this much? “Here, just lean on me.” The smoky man put his arm around his Shoulders, and half helped, half carried him out the door. He starting walking down towards the docks, still carrying Satrams. “No, it’s the, the other way. I live, that way.” He pointed in what was probably the right direction. He’d only had what, three drinks? What colour had they been? The smoky man ignore Satrams pointing, and instead turned again, this time into an alleyway. Now Satrams was certain, there was no way he was drunk, but then, what- Red Smoke. Odium’s Champion! He panicked, trying to get away. the Man simply laughed. “Figured it out huh? A bit too late if you ask me.” He slammed him into the wall, and looked into his eyes. “Don’t worry man, you’ll be with your friends soon enough.” He pulled a curved Dagger out of somewhere, and rammed it into his belly. The Mercenary gasped, as he fell to his knees. His hat fell off into a pool of his own blood. His arms couldn’t squeeze the wound tight enough. He gasped once more, then slumped over. _________________________________________________________________ Peng glared around the room at his so called colleagues. None of them had stood up for him when the Shin tried to kill him. None of them cared about him. He would be lucky if he lasted tomorrow. Storms, it would take a Miracle for him to survive. “Peng.” He stiffened. When he turned around, there was no one where the voice had come from. “I believe you Peng.” The voice seemed to be coming from everywhere at once, though no one else was reacting to it. “Here, take this. You’ll need it tomorrow.” Abruptly, everything felt warm. His back no longer ached, his mind felt awake, he could see much clearer in the darkened room. Wait, the room wasn’t dark anymore. He looked down at himself, and was surprised to see himself Glow. “We must all be completely Devoted to stopping Odium, Peng. Forgive them, and move on. We have a job to do.” Close to tears, he looked up at the ceiling, imagining the starry night outside. “Thank you, Devotion.” Satrams died! He was a Normal Worldhopper. JasonPenguin is immune to be lynched this cycle. Day 2 Begins. It will end at 10:00pm PST on Friday the 6th.
  2. Alright. Cormac is finally in the game. He's a very poetic person, not above quoting ancient text as he kills people. I see him as a Combination of Prof's tactics and Obbliteration's Personality.
  3. There have been a few cases of copy/pasting already. Seriously guys, I can't stress this enough, do NOT COPY/PASTE PM'S. I'm not even allowing the OC's to copy/paste into their doc.
  4. “Many people say different things about the stars. Some say they surround our lady because they worship her, others say they are there to guard her.” He rubbed his fingers together, making the fine sand glitter as it fell back onto the ground. “Still others believe them to be our ancestors, living in the heavens above. All we do know is that we won’t know until we die the final death.” He clenched his fist, stopping the flow of Sand. Around him, the village maintained a quiet chant. praising their gods “These two will be as the stars.” He gazed out at the approaching twins. “We know they are, and will forever be important. Vital to us, But we don’t know how or why.” He opened his fist, turning it over, letting the sand slip out, glimmering in the moonlight. “But like the stars, They will be Everything. They will define us.” He knew the twins could hear him as they continued to approach. That was planned. Euthalia would no doubt be excited, knowing she would be given such great opportunities. Teon would be more nervous, wishing to know everything about what they were going to do. But then, didn’t they all? As the Twins finally reached the Fire, Cormic stood, raising his other hand, which held petals of the Light Flowers of May. Counterpoint to the Twins dark Flowers. He opened his fist, and abruptly, everything went quiet. Even the Forest went quiet. The only sound that could be heard was the crackling of the fire, as the Light Flower petals were burned away. He raised his voice, so that all could hear. Not yelling, just talking. “People of the moon. We gather to celebrate the 168th Moon of these young people. We gather to see what they have in store for the future. We gather to honour of Gods.” “Euthalia, Child of the Moon. What is in your Future?” This part was Ceremonial. No Child had ever been able to correctly predict their future without training, though some had gotten lucky guesses. The Young Woman stepped forward. and Spoke, clearly and confidently. “My Future holds service to the Goddess.” Cormac nodded, neither confirming or denying what she said, just accepting it. “Teon, Child of the Moon. What is in your Future?” the young man stepped forward, glancing nervously about him. “I will, er, I mean. My Future holds protection of the tribe?” He looked hopefully at Cormac. The boy had always hoped to be a New Operative. “Children, no, you are not Children any longer. Adults now. You’re futures hold everything.” In the corners of his eyes, he could see the tribe members frowning. He had never before given Everything as a response. “You two will live until the end of the gods.” This caused several people to cover their mouths to prevent gasps. “You two shall guide this tribe to great Prosperity.” He stepped forward, over the low fire, feeling its heat on his legs. He rested one hand on Euthalia’s shoulder. “Honoured Daughter. You have been revealed as the Revered Mother. The most honoured of all women.” This actually did evoke some gasps. Never before had there been two revered mothers at the same time. Euthalia herself looked Shocked. “And yet, you have also been chosen for the priesthood, and you are to be trained as a New Operative in order to protect our Tribe.” Leading, Protecting, and Serving. all three roles. He turned to her twin, and laid a hand on his Shoulder. “Teon. You have been revealed as a protector, and eventual leader of the New Operatives.” The boys, no, the man’s eyes widened in joy. “And yet, you have also been chosen for the Priesthood.” The joy froze, and gave way to panic. Cormac stepped back, so that the fire was nearly licking his legs. “The two of you have been chosen to Lead this village, to Protect this village, and to Nurture this village. You two have been chosen above all others. Do you accept this Calling?” Teon looked close to panicking. If he was alone, he wouldn’t accept the Calling, luckily, he wasn’t. “I will.” Euthalia stepped forward, chin up. radiating Confidence. that gave Teon pause, and steeled him as well. He stepped forward next to his sister. “I will also serve.” Cormac smiled. He could still see the village, desperate to talk amongst themselves after these revelations. Never before had this happened. He’d reacted the same way when they’d deciphered the signs. “Very well then. I name you full members of this tribe, and welcome you into the Council.” He turned, stepping back over the Fire as the Crowd dissolved into a hubbub of noise and talk.
  5. I really don't want this RP to die. Mrs. Voidus I just sent you Cormac's intro, and I'd like your approval before I post it.
  6. TLR Invented canned food. He mapped out the Canals, invented the plantation system, outsmarted a malevolent god, prepared a plan for everyone to survive said God's wrath. All while Ruin was putting thoughts in his head, forcing him to think even harder to figure out which thoughts were really his.
  7. Next to the EDIT Button there's a hide button. You can use that to delete the second post. Also, please edit rather than Triple posting.
  8. Odium's kill, The Champion's kill Ruin's Kill, and the Bloodsealer kill all happen at the same time as the witness. So if the Witness did spot Odium, It would be too late to kill him/her unless they waited an entire day.
  9. Dominion's Vote changing: Before Dominion: Bob(1): Carol Carol(2): Bob, Alice No Vote: Danny, Edward Then Dominion changes Danny's no-vote to Bob. After Dominion: Bob(2):Carol, Danny Carol(2): Bob, Alice No Vote Edward.
  10. All Shard who invest at night were considered to have invested last night. They did not invest in anyone.
  11. Night 1: The Death of the Dead. “WORDS, PLANS, DEBATES, TRAPS. HARDLY THE HATRED I WAS HOPING TO SEE ON MY RETURN.” Odium looked down on the City where several of his enemies continued to talk to each other. Some few of them had expressed suspicion, but not the levels he wanted. Until he had them tearing themselves apart, he would not have won. He sensed one of his Champions moving closer. “Dread Lord, after tonight, their fear and Hatred will burn much Brighter.” The human stood next to him, not daring to look at him. None of his Champions liked him, and all were loyal only for the power he gave them, and yet, they hated themselves for accepting that power, and hated him even more for offering it to them. WHich was as it should be. “TRUE, TONIGHT, THEY WILL KNOW FEAR.” Odium could sense his fellow shards moving around the Cosmere, trying to find him. Only seven had refused Hoid’s call, which was a stroke of Fortune. If Bavadin had gotten involved, This would be a lot harder. But he could easily handle a mere half of them. ____________________________________________________________________________ “All we have to do is get the Shards to reveal themselves! Then we can find Odium!” Aonar was leaning against the table, his fists on it’s surface. “He won’t be able to hide if we all work together!” “It would never work.” “Odium would kill them before they could do anything!” “Rayse is too powerful for us to fight. We should focus on simply surviving instead!” “And how do we know you aren’t Odium?” That silenced everyone, and set them to thinking. What if Odium ws in this room planning with them? The Worldhoppers began to eye each other, sizing them up. They all knew that the Shards could take on any appearance they wanted. The Shin man, Jain, spoke up. “It could be Peng. He refuses to tell anyone his origins.” The silence returned, as everyone stared at Peng. It was true, no one did know where he came from. Jain looked around. “So, should we kill him.” The Worldhoppers looked around, not wanting to be the first to speak up. Jain’s eyes went stealy at that. “Fine then. If no one wants to talk. I’ll kill him myself. Peng stared in horror at the Shin. “What? Me? It’s probably Him! He’s the only one who wants to lynch someone! Come on guys, Please?” He looked around the room, but none of them could meet his eyes. Jain drew his sword. “Al right then Champion, Die! He stabbed his sword at the man, when suddenly the door burst open, and a grey man threw himself in front of the blade. The blade pierced the man’s chest, and was pulled from Jain’s hand as the man fell to the ground, bleeding some sort of clear liquid. “What? Was that a Lifeless?” Peng looked on, horrified at both the undead Corpse, and his seeming friends, who’d just watched him, willing to let him die. and slowly, grew Angry. _______________________________________________________________________ “AH, I CAN FEEL IT ALREADY. HATE IS GROWING." Peng was protected by a Lifeless! Votes: JasonPenguin(2): Lightsworn Panda, Metacognition(1): Jason Night 1 begins, and will end at 10:00pm PST, Wednesday the 4th. The worlds you can change to are Scadrial, Sel, Nalthis, Roshar, Yolen and First of the Sun.
  12. How does Odium control the Highstorms though?
  13. All of the kills can kill Shards, except for Odium's Investiture kill. They're the only ones with limited kills since they can kill 2 per turn, possibly.
  14. Maybe both. She was 21 when Calamity arrived, lived alone for about half a year, then worked for Commander. So around 30. I believe she was described as wearing a White Lab coat.
  15. This has been asked by Several people now. If Cultivation chooses to have me start a PM, I will always start the PM with these words, "Cultivation has put you in a PM group with Eachother. This PM will be open until Cultivation chooses to close it." This doesn't not reflect on whether or not Cultivation is in that PM. 1 hour until the cycle ends. Is there going to be any last minute Votes?
  16. There's actually 2 hours left. and there's only two votes currently. Lightsworn Panda(1): JasonPenguin JasonPenguin(1): Lightsworn Panda Man, this happened my last game too. It's going to be a boring Writeup.
