I've literally just read this part of the book and I might be be missing something but when everyone is called to the main square for the executions and they see the inquisitors, obligators and the lord ruler out in the open, why doesn't kelsier try to get into that room where the inquisitors stopped him last time? Surely it would have been pretty much completely open to him, with the inquisitors being in the square?
