I was mistaken, I recently saw it in Arcanum Unbounded in Khriss's description: "A creeping darkness, a terrible force that consumed the entirety of the continent, feasting upon the souls of men." She does follow up stating she doesn't know if it is literal, but there does appear to be something of a similar description used.

Do any of you see any similarities between Nightblood and the Evil on Threnody? It's been a while since I've read the books, but I believe they are both described in terms of Black Smoke and Consuming Souls/Investiture. Also, with Nightblood's command to "Destroy Evil" do you think there will be any long term confrontation? I thought the question in the Oathbringer 5 Update Q&A thread asking if Nightblood had the same investiture now as when it was created was interesting (RAFO'd). If Nightblood is consuming and retaining investiture, and The Evil is doing the same (it seems to have gotten bigger to absorb the entire continent on Threnody), there seem to be some similar things going on. I wonder if there is a limit as to how powerful they can become. Thoughts/Help expanding upon?

Syl's comment that gravity is an agreement among friends got me thinking that maybe Spren control the laws of nature in some manner(I did see someone post that this may be the reason Surges have to do with laws of nature as well). I have also seen many theories that Urithiru is in the sky, and maybe it is possible if the spren can make things not come back down...
