Hey, may as well introduce myself. I'm here by a kind of roundabout path - I saw Brandon Sanderson posting on Reddit a year-ish ago and was curious about all the attention he was getting and because I recognized the references to Wheel of Time, so I googled a bit, and ended up at the Writing Excuses podcast, which lo and behold, had as a co-host Howard Tayler. I've been a Schlock fan since I can't remember when (though I'm pretty certain I was in high school when I started reading, so 2002 at the latest), so I went ahead and gave it a listen even though I'm not a writer. I loved it! And Brandon seemed like a fairly swell guy, so I went ahead and gave Mistborn a try, and really liked it.
At some point I registered on TWG, and now I'm here, I guess. Seems like you have a fairly active forum here, so I look forward to using it.
I'm a college student ("non-traditional" sophomore - I'm 27) studying Secondary Ed / Math, and I live in Wyoming. Any questions, ask away.
