I hope he gets the fabrial spear, or a "shard spear" if that exists. I think at some point, Kaladin will get at least plate, completing his transformation into a KR. Perhaps this will even be our way to see how shards are made? P.S. I think Dalinar was better with plate and blade than Adolin, but that's irrelevant now.

I'm going to check them out someday, when my current list runs out.

Actually I've only read The Way of Kings. I'm starting Warbreaker (In a week or two; I'm currently reading a Jack Vance novel.) and at some point afterwards I plan to read Mistborn, although maybe after Words of Radiance so that I'll have some cosmere stuff to hold me over for the long haul in between it and book three. I plan to read all of the cosmere stuff, because the idea of it really intrigues me. I may or may not read the rest of his stuff, but I'll at least give it a try.

The more I think about it the more I think that he was sort of surprised attacked. I think he's been hurt, and he's sort of doggedly getting up from a hard fall, while simultaneously drawing in stormlight to heal himself/fight off szeth. I think the thing his hand is on is a Kholin blue pouch full of spheres (explaining the lighter color and illumination) and medical equipment (explaining the darker lines).

Slightly disappointed by this, but what can you do? I only hope it turns out better because of this.

I only wish he wouldn't have done Kaladin's face. But I think I'll most likely grow to like it. The colors are beautiful, and everything except some minor nitpicks about Kaladin is absolutely awesome. Szeth and the pile of bodies he's on looks awesome. Almost wish that was the front.

Kaladin could maybe fall in love with Shallan through her lying to him. If Shallan were to continue making bad decisions, I could see her pulling Kaladin down with her. She lies, and he believes her for some reason. Then Dalinar becomes aware of Shallan's descent into evil, and he kills her, making Kaladin, who has already become slowly compromised by his love for Shallan, shift into pure hatred for lighteyes. He then starts by killing Dalinar and becoming Odium's champion. Around the same time or prior to that, Szeth could cause a terrible accident that he has no way to blame on others, thus causing him to finally take his oathstone for himself. He could then be who he wants to be and become Honor's champion. It's not completely thought out, but it's another possibility. Also, first post!
