Deathpoint! Death*point*! Augh, did I really do that?? -
I've known about this place for a while, but never did get around to signing up. But Brandon announced an art contest the other day... So here I am. I live over in muggy buggy Melbourne, FL, and I generally split my non-mommying time between writing YA fantasy and drawing. Not published yet, but still trying...Brandon Sanderson's work and Writing Excuses have done a great job in keeping me motivated. Meanwhile I keep a blog (though sometimes it goes through spells where I don't update it), and a deviantART page. Looking forward to going through the galleries and interesting topics here!

Maybe it's Deathnote saying "You're next"...or maybe it's Steelheart behind him. This may or may not be accurate, but I read Deathpoint's charcter as kind of punkish...one of those loud, lanky, life-of-the-party guys whose favorite passtime is driving around in a fast car and whistling at the ladies. When he's not killing people and robbing banks for fun :/ So that's kind of how I portrayed him. And I gave Steelheart long hair. (The prologue only said it was black! And it differentiates him visually from clean-cut Superman).
