If I were a Radiant realistically I would probably be a Truthwatcher or maybe a Lightweaver, because I am most definitely more of a scholar then of a fighter. If I were a misting I would probably be a soother or rioter, none of the others really fit me, I know, very honest person you've got here. If I were a Ferring I would probably be a Sentry (bronze), because storing sleep would actually just be awesome, or I would be a sparker (Zinc), because storing mental speed would also be great, I could just store some mental speed for those upcoming AP exams I have and I would be set.

So, this may sound a little bit ridiculous, and don't get me wrong it is, but hear me out. What if Lift could go to the Spirit Shores? I believe that Hoid and Lift have something in common, in which they both can somehow break into the spiritual realm places somehow, maybe through like an anchor. And don't ask me how my brain got here, trust me, you don't even want to know. Also I didn't know whether to to put this in Cosmere or Stormlight, so I'm putting it in Cosmere because this is pulling information from both Emberdark and Stormlight, but I'll put a spoiler warning for any spoilers for Isles of the Emberdark, and forgive me if I put this in the wrong topic. Lift I was thinking about what Lifts role would be in the back half of Stormlight Archive, she's obviously very important seeing as she is going to be a flashback character. I was mainly contemplating what her boon and curse is. Now, Cultivation did a number of weird things to her, like her existing partly in the cognitive realm and being able to convert mass to investiture (lifelight), but one of the most interesting to me is why she can just go into the Stormfathers visions. I don't know how or why, but my guess is that she has some sort of weird connection to the spiritual realm, which allows her to go into places of the spiritual realm. Hoid Something I found interesting was that Hoid could go into Odium's visions somehow. In Rhythm of War, he goes into the vision that Odium sets up for Kaladin to try to break him. Isles of the Emberdark Spoilers: How do they do it? I was thinking that maybe they would use some sort of anchor to bring them into the place they want to go in the spiritual realm just like when Dalinar and Navani go into different visions in Wind and Truth. Also Lift mentions she could enter the visions because Dalinar was there to guide her, so he could have been a possible anchor somehow? Spoilers for Emberdark: Could Lift go to the Heralds little Vacation Home? I think using this same logic that Lift could theoretically break into the heralds visions. I mean, if she needs some sort of anchor that would be easy, because she could get something from her Nale hunting days. Now if that happened, it would make the already bad sitcom worse. Now, none of this stuff is actually going to happen obviously, and again, don't ask how my mind got to this. What do you think of this theory? Is it stupid, is it completely implausible and did I miss something that completely debunks it? Have people already thought of the same things as I did? Feel free to trash on this crappy theory all you want, because until then this is going to be stuck in my head.

If I could invite any 6 Sanderson characters to a party... My first thought was just my 6 favorite characters, but half of those conversations would be very awkward, so realistically they would be characters that are not socially awkward and characters I think I would personally get along with. I would probably want someone like Khriss at my party because I feel like we could yap so much cosmere together it would be great. And then also maybe Starling because I feel like the conversation wouldn't be awkward because she's so outgoing and I feel like I could get a good conversation. Shai, because she seems like a really nice person and also I love her ideology. Marasi because I feel like we would just click, I have an interest in true crime stuff and that sort of thing and she's also an introvert so yeah. Shallan because me and her have so much in common, and also Shallan is one of my favorite characters already soo, and also putting Shallan and Shai in the same place would be interesting... I feel like those two would click so much. And then Rokke (which is technically a character btw) because idk what it is about them, but I love the Aviar. And that would be my 6 people I would invite to probably the most weird party I'd would ever have been to.

Hello all! I am very new to this fandom, and have been reading Sanderson since July 2025, after being introduced by my siblings, who had been pestering me for like a year. One Mistborn Final Empire later and fast forward 3 months and I have 80% of the cosmere read and have been chipping my way through the rest since finishing Stormlight. The only cosmere books (I think) I have not read is the White Sand trilogy, I don't do well with comic books (probably going to wait for the prose version whenever that's coming out, Sanderson), and then Yumi and The Nightmare Painter, which I DNFed after like 4 chapters (no offense but Painter's POV was so confusing and boring), and maybe I'll get back to it someday. As for non-cosmere works, I've only read the first two Skyward books and Sunreach (I'm actively reading the third book and plan to finish the entire series, along with Skyward flight, by summer). I have been lurking around here cluelessly (because I swear I can't navigate these forums for the life of me) for about 2 weeks before making my account, and I still have no idea what the rank thing is, among a lot of other things here, so forgive me if I accidentally put something in the wrong topic somehow, or anything of the sort. I made an account to start theorizing, because I want to see what others think about my stupid theories that are very well thought-out, but also not very well thought-out, meaning I spent a whole lot of time thinking about them, but didn't spend much time thinking about why they're absolutely not going to happen and why there dumb, if you know what I mean. That being said, I still can't wait to be part of the fandom!
