  1. Welcome! I know exactly what you mean. I used to occasionally chat to AI for my Cosmere ideas, so I joined here instead. So true… Do you have a favourite?
  2. I finished Elantris and The Hope of Elantris!

Sel is awesome! Are there any more Books set on Sel, other than Elantris, THoE and The Emperor’s Soul?

I‘m reading Mistborn: Secret History, Warbreaker and Rythm of War next.

  3. That’s a great idea! I’m pretty sure they can, as in Era 2 there is a Koloss Blooded Pewterarm. I think there is something about that in the Coppermind. I agree, I would have to add a few more arrows. Thank you for the feedback, I‘ll get to the changes as soon as possible!
  4. Yeah, that's true. Do you have an idea of how to fix that? I would leave it in, just so there is the possibility to have a Kandra character.
  5. Oh, yeah, that’s a good point. Do you have any ideas of how to improve that? I think, because its just another type of magical ability a character has, it is another option to choose. Koloss-Blooded are Kigs (children of Koloss, who have chosen not to accept the spikes, and have been kicked out of Koloss society), and spiked Koloss-Blooded are Era 2 Koloss. Thank you!
  6. So, I really enjoy imagining up fantasy characters, set in the books I’ve read, even if its not for RPG. Because I love the Cosmere, I decided to make a simple Flowchart, so other people can use it to give their own characters abilities from Scadrial. The chart isn’t designed to create an entire character, just the magical abilities, that can be found on Scadrial. I seperated Classical Scadrial, Era 1 and Era 2, for more specific answers. I allowed myself to be a bit free with Lerasium, as in my chart it can be found in Eras 1 & 2, and is just an option, but again, you wouldn’t choose your Metalborn abilities. I counted being a Koloss, Kandra or a Steel Inquisitor as being magical abilities and not different species. I did this because all of them are Hemalurgically created. I didn’t count Hemalurgic Chimera as an ability, as I don’t think they are intelligent enough to make a complex character. I would love to hear what you think of it, and how I can improve it (I really need that, because I know its not perfect yet!). If there are any problems with the image, I can try to send it again or in a different way.
  7. Ok, thanks! Good to know, I'll put that on my reading list.
  8. Seth-son-son-Vallano, Truthless of Shinovar wore only a little pink backpack on the day he was to kill a king. (He needed something to carry his other dumb costumes)
  9. Ok, thanks! Good to know. I had a question about Arcanum Unbounded: Are the single Stories in AU (Emperor’s Soul, White Sand, SfSitFoH, Sixth of the Dusk) the full versions that I can read normally?
  10. Thanks! That’s really helpful! I can read the AU Scadrial Stories before those beneath right? I think then Warbreaker will be next, followed by Elantris (together with Hope of Elantris?), and then The Emperor’s Soul. After those I should continue SA, did I get that right?
  11. Hi everyone! Quick question about what to read next in the Cosmere: I started the Cosmere with Way of Kings and Final Empire, then continued The Stormlight Archive while reading Mistborn alongside it. So far, I’ve finished all of Scadrial except for the Arcanum Unbounded essays and short stories (planning to read Eleventh Metal, Allomancer Jak, and Secret History soon). I’ve also just finished Dawnshard and am reading Rhythm of War next. I’m good in reading multiple books at once, so I’m already thinking ahead—what should I pick up next? I’m especially interested in: Cosmere standalones Stories with connections or Easter eggs related to Scadrial Books that tie into Arcanum Unbounded I was considering Elantris or Tress of the Emerald Sea—would that be a good next step, or is there something you’d recommend first? Thanks!
  12. I finished Oathbringer and Dawnshard!

I’m reading Allomancer Jak and Eleventh Metal next. (Because of Arcanum Unbounded)

    1. Through the Living Shadow

Yeah, probably also Secret History, I just thought I should keep it until I reread Mistborn. (But I won’t). I also don’t know Khriss yet.

      So, also Secret History

  13. Yeah, I just read that, but it doesn’t really explain what it does. No, but I’m interested in some Standalones to read, is it good? I have, and it’s pretty cool
  14. Yeah, definitely (no offence, Roshar) Nah, not yet, but I probably will very soon:
  15. Any? Probably a Fullborn , because its just OP, but I’m not sure if that’s allowed. I haven’t read that much of the Cosmere yet, so my second choice would be Kandra, because the Shapeshifting is kinda cool I just like Scadrial.
  16. Hmm, that's not easy. With Bendalloy maybe Steel? (Super speed!) Or Pewter? Other than Bendalloy, a good Twinborn Allomancy side would be any Mental metal (Zinc, Brass, Copper, Bronze) or Chromium. Way to broken, look at Feruchemical Bendalloy, Cadmium, Gold and Bronze! You're basically Undead.
  17. I think he's hilarious, but also kind of awesome, especially with his Bendalloy Transformations and how he impersonates other people. So, yeah I do like him very much. In the Cosmere or in general? I haven't seen Sanderson Dragons yet, but in other books I actually love them. I think Dragons are one of the best Fantasy Creatures. Ooh, that's a really hard question. On Earth or in the Cosmere? For non-compounding I think anything with A-Bendalloy works great, because you can throw up a Bubble, quickly store the attribute while everyone else is in Slo-Mo (If you have enough Bendalloy). For compounding maybe Zinc, to make yourself too smart, maybe similar to the level of mental capacity Atium gives you. (Not because of the Rioting, that's not my type) To be honest, Copper compounding might be best, because you are immune to emotional Allomancy and can remember everything. Compounding is great, no matter what you have.
  18. The problem is that none of them are known to have survived (except for Human) - there were no Caches out in the burnlands to survive what Ruin did to the continent, followed by Vin's mistakes, followed by Sazed's remaking of Scadrial. Oh yeah, but the Malwish did survive that, before they had Feruchemy, right? There could have been other civilizations that managed similar things. But they are not - the water you see Era 1 was an Inland Sea (see WoB below) - that was changed when Harmony restored the original coastlines (as mapped by the Bennet). During Rashek's reign, the oceans had boiled off. Ah, ok. I didn't know that. Does that mean most of Scadrial is water? Even if Harmony restored the original Coastlines, there might have been a different continent or island somewhere out there. Is that out yet?
