Hate let me tell you how much I’ve come to hate el from the moment I read about him I’ve hated him. Hate I hate him so much. Oh you think you’re sooooo cool with an aluminum body well you’re not. Thereasons I hate him are 1. He killed lezian the pursuer. Now I hate this for 2 reasons 1 is because I love lezian he is awesome and cool and teleporting is cool and number two is el killed lezian to test out anti voidlight for himself but why didn’t he do this on an insane fused not lezian a very capable warrior who although having a bad rep can still fight well. That’s just stupid and el seems like the guy to not make these utterly brain dead decisions. Which is reason number two for why I hate him he pretends to be smart and wise, like Jasnah, but he makes really stupid decisions and states the obvious we should rule the humans not exterminate them well duh that’s just common sense el. The third reason why I hate him is because adding aluminum to your body is downright disrespectful to the friends and family of the singer whose body got taken over by it’s basically saying thanks for the gift I forced you to give now I’ll modify the gift and make it completely unrecognizable. The final reason I hate El is because in killing Lezian he ruined my Kaladin and lezian ship so it’s never gonna be canon which ties into reason number one of why I hate him.

I think in IoE and dawnshards probably only do what their title is like change changing stuff and exist doing something and that doesn’t seem that soft to me. But yeah all of these are considerably softer than other magics.
