  1. Let’s assume that it’s the whole planet vs the other. Fused and Radiants vs. Malwish and Basinites. The Scadrians have a larger technological advantage, with medallions, airships, the beginning of self-propelled missiles. They also have a magical advantage with mistings, ferrings, twinborn, and after TLM, mistborn again. “But radiants are stronger”. Not necessarily true. 3rd ideal and lower don’t have shardplate, so are weak to emotionally Allomancy. And even full radiant could be trapped in a pulser’s bubble. Also, scadrial has the means to mass produce aluminum, which can be used to stop shardblades. Frankly, I can really see the rosharans winning. They work on a very static style of war, where as scadrians (northerners at least) have over 1,000 years of record military experience that changes. Rosharans are stuck in rank formations using spears.
  2. Remember that scene in TSM when that scadrian asks if Nomad knows Malwish?
all I can think of is that “Vanichkin, do you speak English?” Meme.

  3. Yeah, in writing fantasy sometimes you have to use things like really world word bases. It’s like how hemalurgy has Latin roots.
  4. Those are smart parallels, but if you are right, then it raises a continuity question; when would this take place? Does it take place post or pre Stormlight Archive?
  5. Kiss Moash, Kill Straff, Marry Ten Soon. ( i know he’s a dog. It would be a lavender marriage) kmk: Nightblood, Auxiliary, Ashe
  6. Yes! Because they don’t have vaccines! That would be awesome!
  7. Alright. We received the first chapter today, and immediately I began to wonder “What planet does this take place on?” Here are my theories. 1, it’s Ashyn. I know this isn’t very strong, but certain things seem to interlock in ways I can’t ignore. The fire in the sky, the war, and the king betrayed. This sounds similar to the story we hear in Stormlight about Ashyn. The plague is also suspect, because what we have of Above the Silence Prime, it sounds similar. 2. It’s Yolen. Mostly based on the fact that the king was murdered by one of his dukes. This is very similar to the tale of Jerick told to us by Hoid in Stormlight 5 3. Mythos. The tale sounds very mythology in nature. That’s it. Or it could be on another, unknown planet. I’m just spitballing here before we get more information. I initially posted it in a new thread, but someone pointed out I could post it here

  9. How old is this? I’m going to have to say: Kiss Lift, Marry Shallan, Kill Jasnah. Renarin, Allik, Allrianne.
