  1. You see, just be the person other people are analyzing, and then you don’t have to. But good luck, I’d like to hear your insights later. As it is right now, it seems Wahr is going to be exed. I feel confident about it, and I want to see how the Elims react to it, as they kind of already committed to winning loop 1. Hopefully too much doesn’t change before rollover
  2. I won’t be on for rollover… for there’s not way I’ll be able to control that chaos. Also, you are aware that this means that Wahr is getting exed right now? Actually, I’m good with that. I want to see how he responds Edit: Wahr, I see you lurking
  3. You’re not helping your case here. I vote you, and you vote me, even though you say it’s not retaliation. Also, if you’re not an Elim, and you’re a villager, why would it matter that you’re one of the 4 that could be an Elim? Why are you so concerned about that? You are right, I don’t know enough of your playstyle to make a judgement there, and I admitted that as such. I am making a big deal of your retaliation vote, because I think it is one. Also, what does going for a mask say about your alignment? I feel like this is another overreaction from you, and actually furthers my opinion you are Elim. I think you’re flailing, trying to push suspicion on me, since I’m the reason you’re being voted. If you do want to know why I trust archer, it’s because of the lack of NK yet he volunteered to be exed. Edit: literally, your reason for voting me is because I think you’re Elim plus I’m active. Please explain how that’s not retaliation. You said it was partly because I was suspicious of you
  4. You mentioned the vote on archer, but theirs is more to it. I will fully admit a vibes part of me is suspicious as well, this is quite different from your playstyle last game, and either you’re being coached, or you are taking this game really seriously(and I’m learning against that due to the retaliation vote.) For other examples, though, I do not like your vote on ashbringer. Not that choosing to vote him was a bad idea, but your reasoning for moving off Ashbringer is what concerns me. You voted him because he was posting, but only rp, and you moved off him because he was busy irl. Which on the surface makes sense, except that you didn’t vote him because of activity to begin with, it was because of his only Rp, yet you don’t mention that. You've been weirdly defensive today as well, assuming that because someone is voting you, you must immediately get them to take it off. - Elim behavior. Also, you are vastly underestimating what the retaliation votes mean. There was no reason for you to vote archer for his vote on you. It wasn’t targeting, and you weren’t in any danger of getting voted out. And even if you were, death’s temporary in this loop, it wouldn’t have mattered unless you were Elim. That’s not how it works, sadly, we don’t know if we’ve exed an Elim till the end of the loop, and the loop continues after we’ve exed an Elim. The days in a loop are set, we have to find Elims and exe them in that day, but it’ll be hard to tell who’s Elim. VC: Wonko (1): Dive Archer (3): Wonko, Coder, Hoid Hael (1): Archer Wahr (2): Mistfallen, Araris
  5. First off, welcome @Stick. glad to see you. Also, I’m getting more suspicious of Wahr, he is consistently making weird/elim-y moves, and then backing off as soon as he’s questioned, so Wahr for now, I’ll make a VC as soon as someone posts.
  6. Oh, my bad. Yeah, the other game me and Stick were the people controlling the thread. He was basically our fail-safe. We could exe him if we needed to, and he wouldn’t die. Though that was due to his role. But yeah, I would say he is less active this game, but it is pretty similar. You are right, he normally wouldn’t have gone silent, so we should probably wait for another post from him before ultimately deciding
  7. Oh yeah, you weren’t there for that game. Same thing I did the other game, deepwolfing, trying to gain people’s trust, giving slightly off reads. I mean, if you want, you can think I’m deepwolfing right now, but, due to the nature of deepwolfing, you don’t know when I am or am not until later in the game. However, It’s unlikely I’d be Elim two games in a row. Not really much I can explain though, Stick knew how to tell, but beyond that, idk.
  8. It was one game, and it was immediately recognized next time I tried it. That said, I get how one game can affect a lot. I really don’t think I qualify for a deep clear though, so I really don’t think thats how yall should be clearing me.
  9. You’re supposed to be. Though since we’re coming up with it on the spot, I suppose we might be as well. ——- Kieran looked over at the source of the shout. Running over them, he quickly subs into the perimeter. “Is this everyone? And where did these creatures come from?” He was distracted as he stabbed another creature in front of of him. “Ugh.. it’s endless”
  10. I’ll post so you can post it when you have it, plus I need some RP anyways. Kieran made it just in time, bursting into the clearing where the people had stopped. Quickly appraising the situation, his sword darted out to attack the creatures. This past day had been a nightmare, first explosions on a celebration and now getting attacked by monsters? Kieran had to duck, a claw swiping above him, cutting his hair that failed to keep up. ”I wasn’t ready for a haircut yet” he growled, spearing the creature. He then ran to find others, not everyone would have a weapon after all.
  11. @Archer are we sliding 1 and 2 off to the side for now? Or today? And which one? I’m for sliding 1, but maybe not 2. Also, agreed on 3 Edit for clarification. I’m sliding 1 today, and as for 2, should we today?
  12. I’m gonna need a sec to remember what you’re referring to lol. I think I know though… Edit: I believe I know now… hopefully I’m not wrong
  13. I’m not clarifying. @Archer I will PM you about it. I’d suggest against revealing when you get said PM, as that could potentially say what color I have
  14. Okay good, otherwise we’d have problems. I’m not sure if I should say exactly what that problem is though, because I don’t think everyone else has noticed, and if I point it out, the Elims would know about it
  15. You really shouldn’t have said that. I can figure out what this means, and you didn’t even mean to say it
  16. The thing is, is that it’s an overreaction. there’s more than 24 hours left in the cycle, just because you got voted now doesn’t mean you’ll be in any danger then. Also, it doesn’t make sense. No one is a perfect village, people make decisions that seem weird even if it makes sense to you. Getting votes just means Archer thinks there’s a possibility of you being Elim. And like, he knows just as much as everyone else, there’s no reason to get mad at him unless you are a Elim. Basically, retaliation votes don’t make sense unless you’re an Elim. Self-preservation can and does make sense. I know I’m village, and so to me it’s better that someone who may not be village dies than I do, but here, not only are we not in a self preservation situation, but dying here could potentially be a clear.
  17. Burnt and TUM(I can’t be bothered to fix the font Also, some other thoughts I’ve had. Ultimately, we won’t know whether or not we have a trust circle until the end of the loop. What this means is that during the loop, we cannot trust the other people in the loop(edit: dead doc, I mis-wrote), meaning the only thing we can do is make a code. Otherwise it’s basically the thread, but smaller. Another thing we need to be aware of is the captains hat. The person able to read the dead doc can write in it, but doesn’t have to, meaning they can just stalk the dead doc, not revealing themselves, making it so that we have a person(who we potentially don’t know) who isn’t verified, able to read the code that is made up. All of this to say that I think that we should be trying for Elims, not a trust circle. I’ve been a bit back and forth on this, but considering the dead doc isn’t secure(unless one of the people we exe is revealed to have the captains mask) we can’t really trust it.
  18. Considering you have said you don’t know my playstyle, I do find it weird that you think I’d be a “good village to exe” but that’s not really alignment indicative. As for the mask. At this point, about half the people should have one. The 12 people who don’t have a blue mask can all go for the 4 red masks. I don’t think it’s too much of an info reveal to say that, especially since I didn’t say which. Uncertainty over blast and dorongo kinda make it not too much of a problem. As for an Elim being there, it’s not too much different from 4 Elims being in thread. Agreed, cleared dead doc members should be the people we listen to the most. Plus that lets them share info like masks without too much trouble Edit: sorry, I forgot to post my reasons for Burnt and TUM as Elims. Once someone posts I’ll put it in thread
  19. For the dead doc situation, my opinion is that we put one person in there that we think is elim, and then use the other slots to people we want to converse in dead doc. The reason being that it’s best to narrow down who we think is Elim. If we win the loop, the person we voted as Elim will most likely be Elim, and if not, we just cleared a sketchy person as well as gave our people time to communicate. Updates for who I think is Elim: Wonko, Honor, Spaghetti, and TUM. I’ll give reasons in a bit, I just don’t have time right now.
  20. Kieran looked back at the people, he couldn’t see them too well through the dense forest, but it seemed they had stopped. “That’s certainly not good” too many people had gotten injured in the nights festival… Wahi with his arm… All sorts of things. If they were stopping now, someone might’ve collapsed from pain. Kieran headed back to check it out, after all, they had to keep moving “I’ll carry them if I have too”
  21. Someone with trust issues, which, considering we’re playing a social manipulation, probably includes most of us. Time for some RP though. Kieran unsheathed his short sword, carefully moving through the forest. People were always watching the road for threats, forgetting that most of it came from the forest instead. Surprisingly, everything had been quiet of late, not what Kieran had expected… considering what had happened in town, he had expected it to be much more like his days adventuring.
  22. If you want a PM person, go with Doc. I myself am good in a doc, but not PMs, that’s doc, he is so good with them. That said, who do you trust more? If we’re exing for dead doc, it should just be people we trust. That should come above problem solving. That said, I would prefer to not die today, for reasons I would not like to reveal yet
  23. Seriously? Did you think I was trying to draw attention to myself or something? You forget I’ve never played a game with you when you’re village. Except for potentially now, but I don’t think so. Speaking of which, could you explain why you decided to discuss Elim strat in thread? If I missed it please point it out. Also, again, everyone, the Elims have committed pretty much to trying to win loop 1. We need to solve this, meaning we have to be very intentional with who we get out. I’ve seen Wonko, Wahr, and Archer up for exe. Out of those three. I’ve seen more of Archer, plus Archer himself… which actually makes me inclined to trust him…. As an Elim, there’s no reason to volunteer for exe and then try to win loop 1 as Elim… I’ll have to think more, but I’m also at a dance right now, so… idk
  24. True, which means we have to put a lot of effort into solving. If we get an Elim, they just narrowed down the suspects Also Wonko I believe my reasons have been pretty clear.
