  1. So, I'm not quite sure if I agree that the fourth moon on Roshar has adonalsium's god metal. I think splitting metals is difficult - just like for how splitting Adonalsium, you need the Dawnshards to do it, I imagine something pretty powerful would be necessary. I imagine that if you were to split Adonalsium's god metal, yes it would split, the question is, how would you do it?
  2. I think the "vigor" of a breath is different than how much investiture it has. I think it might be more inherently related to the Identity of that breath.
  3. I think the theory @Isilel posted makes a lot of sense. Mother Frond likely is Koravellium, but not Cultivation anymore. That would keep all existing WoBs intact.
  4. I wouldn't complain about a good roleplay... Any particular ones you'd recommend me to check out? Threads to link me to? Also, ration bars last longer, but chicken is renewable food source. Depending on if the chicken is able to survive, I'd go for the rations first. Otherwise, the chicken goes.
  5. I do! And very much so. No thank you though, I'm full, but please, have a cookie yourself. (Not today, Fae.). As for the magic system, I quite enjoy that of Emperor's Soul and Tress. The latter essentially because it is a magic system pretty much everyone can use - if they're either stupid or brave enough to do so! The spores are also just a really cool concept. I also really like the concept of Forgeries. Meanwhile most of Sanderson's other magic systems are things seemingly unique to certain heritages and such. I should read era two! I'm actually tossing it up between either Stormlight or Era 2 after I finish warbreaker. What would you recommend?
  6. -> Inquisitors want to know your location /joke
  7. Thank you very much! Oh what a lovely question. In ALL of fiction? Phew, that's a difficult one. I'm going to narrow down the question slightly since there's MANY characters I'd like to punt. In the Cosmere however... Hoid would be the funny answer. But more realistically, some of the actual horrible people in the stories. Frava from Emperor's Soul is one. Some of the people from White Sand (a recent read), is also one. Straff also deserves to be punted. [now which definition did I choose? ;)] From Brandon Sanderson works, yes. I used to read a TON when I was younger, but then kind of stopped when I was in my middle school years. Life got busy and, with other forms of media such as games being lower-effort when you're already tired from study and work, I kind of stopped reading despite how many books I went through as a kid. Only about two months ago I've started reading again, starting with Piranesi, then Gideon the Ninth, then the Sanderson named works above. It's been a bit slow- mostly because I am working on my final thesis of my study, so reading is still something I can only do sparingly. Still, I'm so glad I decided to sit down for a book again. Sanderson made me recall WHY I loved reading, and it's made me realise that sitting down and choosing to read something is so much healthier and satisfying than the easy-access entertainment I've gotten used to. Recency bias would say Piranesi! But, when I was younger I really did quite enjoy the original Percy Jackson series - Especially the very first book, The Lightning Thief, is one I've re-read countless times over the years. I actually don't think I've reread any book as much as that one yet. Although, whilst talking about this another book shot to mind. "De Brief voor de Koning" - by Tonke Dragt. (English: The Letter for the King). I am not sure how good the English translation of this media is, but it is an absolutely wonderful book in Dutch. In fact, it's one of the reasons that led me to pursue Historical Swordfighting as a sports the past few years. Unfortunately, no. But I have stabbed plenty. I in fact do that twice a week, and even instruct others on how to properly enter in the art of noble stabbing. And the not-so-noble backstabbing. I hope this is a satisfactory answer. It would be the ; and the , because this way I would not ever need to worry about using a semicolon. Cause I do not know how to fricking use that thing! Also, you'd be surprised about the amount of places I am known as "Someone" at. I even get called it IRL at certain LAN events, which can lead to hilarious confusion. Thanks for all the fun questions @ThatOneWorldhopper @IcedOutPenguin @FRENZEE @Through The Living Glass @Entr0pic! That was lovely. To ask a question in return, any recommendations what I should check out on this forum next? I haven't explored it much yet. Admittedly being here gives me quite a lot of nostalgia, I haven't hung out on classic forums like these since I was in middle school either.
  8. Hey there! After reading myself some 30% into the Cosmere within the last month, I decided to join here to mostly lurk about, and perhaps join in on discussions here and there. Hope to talk to you all more PS: Feel free to AMA about anything I've read so far (Tress, Emperor's Soul & Elantris, White Sand, Mistborn Era 1, Secret History)
