  1. They'll... be fine? I think? It's over a hundred million kilometres but those two brown dwarves... Maybe they're hit. Even less likely their moons are hit though, as the Giant will draw debris towards it.
  2. @IcedOutPenguin Hot Jupiter-type, 0.03 AU Normal Dominant Gas Giant, 2.58 AU Asteroid belt, around 1.3 AU Neptune-type planet, 20.5 AU Kuiper Belt equivalent is 26.86 - 32.54 AU Terrestrial planets: 5.14 AU (Too cold) 0.06 AU (Would be too hot, but maybe habitable if it has high albedo or something) 0.66 AU (Too cold, but high greenhouse affect can fix that.) 0.1 AU (Would be too hot, but maybe habitable if it has high albedo or something) 81.94 AU (Most like has an eccentric orbit) So no good habitable planets. Best hope is the 0.66 AU one. However, one of your gas giant's tidal forces could make a moon potentially habitable. But Shards can think in milli or microseconds...
  3. I was reading RoW while listening to Dawnshard
  4. Because Autonomy and Honour are working together to create Scadrial, it would have to be that Autonomy/Honour doesn't interfere with Invention, but Autonomy is allowed to interfere with Honour and vice versa.
  5. @Argenti@mippo@al_lan_mandragoran This is the Mini Empires RP. If you want to play, you can still sign up here. Basically everything is here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zU0E9Qc7ep69qmdU0Ez2J6Suh7pEdYN08t3uyKRxmrg/edit?gid=0#gid=0 Yes, the tiles are basically hexagons, because it's better that way. Grey is unexplored. All other colours correspond to various empires. Each turn is 6 hours and at the end of each day every person consumes one food from *somewhere* in their Empire. If food is not available, you get the 'Hungry' status effect and lose HP every day. The Hungry effect can be removed if you consume one extra food on a folloqing day. Wood does not work like this and a crafter must go to the hex where wood is present. You can carry any number of resources with you. If you enter another Empire's territory, then you can steal their food unless someone is present to fight over it. And yes, you all start in the same Empire. I think this would help with understanding how it works. This thread is for discussion, but you all PM me you actions. Actions you can take: Move. You may take any resources on the tile with you. You move to any adjacent tile, unless you have a horse, in which case you move 2 tiles. Farm. If you are on Farmland, you roll your farming skill in d6 and the number of 6's is the number of food farmed. Log. Same as farming, but for forest and wood. Explore. If you are on an unexplored tile, I roll a number of d20s equal to your scouting skill. The total is how much % it is explored, and once it's 100% I'll reveal what kind of tile it is. Fight. I'm keeping combat mechanics a secret for now. Craft. If there is wood on your hex, you may attempt to use it as follows: 2 wood -> sword 5 wood -> barrier (for defence) 3 wood -> lance (better for cavalry) 3 wood -> hammer (for breaking barriers) 1 wood -> tourniquet (for staunching wounds) 4 wood -> armour (for defence) Revolt. Join a different Empire or start a new one. If you are the only one on your hex, that hex belongs to your new Empire Empires claim territory when a hex is occupied by one or more of their members and no members from other Empires are present. That's it, I think. Begin!
  6. OR maybe you could Blank yourself while compounding cadmium and maybe nicrosil (I don't know I'm throwing metals around) to then tap cadmium and get Stormlight. But I wonder if cadmium feruchemy could be a way to store without it leaking. It would be cool if cadmiumminds could store gaseous Investiture.
