Like Coder said, early in WaT (I think it's Day 2) a scene goes something like this: It isn't plot spoilers or anything, but I'm tagging it anyway. Anyway, your characters. Always like to see Elend on these lists. I really feel Sazed is a little underrated, we'd have some deep philosophical discussions between Sazed and Jasnah. Kaladin's quite common, he's just popular, and so is Hoid/Wit/Midius/Cephadrius/Topaz/Drifter/Dust/Trickster Aspect/Imperial Fool/some_others_I'm_forgetting, but the latter would probably arrive late and leave early, as well as insult everyone while he's there. Taravangian... I don't know what to say. Now, what's interesting is that you didn't invite both Hammond and Rock, who are nearly universal. Only 2 others didn't pick Ham and 1 other person did not invite Rock.

I'm one of then. Should I change back to SprenOfKaladinSenseOfHumor? But that hits the character limit and has to be Kaladin instead of Kaladins. And then I wouldn't be KSauce anymore, I'd be SOKSOH or... Socks Oh.

You cannot. You can, however, play a mortal for some time and then swap back to being a Shard. It's just that it could easily become the person working for the interests of the Shard or vice versa. I don't want things like this happening.

Alright. Well, yeah, I have some ideas for that. After all the supernova stuff settles, I want to transition from a Shard-focused game to a people-focused game. In the real Cosmere, this was achieved after all the volatile Shards where either killed or trapped. Time will significantly speed up. However, most Shards will still be doing something, so if you want to play a non-Shard, you must either give your Shard to me or someone else. Scadrial - Created by Honour and Autonomy this time 'round. Rosharan System - Dominion Threnody - You and Endowment Nerakalis - A custom planet made by Ambition in the Selish System First of the Sun - Mercy Alorian System (not in the canon Cosmere) - Invention and Cultivation Iaira Prime (also not in the canon cosmere) - Ruin and Deovtion The Taldain System got obliterated from the supernova and only the black hole is left. The other Shards are wandering right now (Whimsy, Odium, Reason), except Valor who's right in the middle of the supernova.

Well, there appears to be patterns in the structure, like most 2nd Ideals are 'I will ___ [phrase that makes it more specific]', like when Kal said, 'I will protect [those who cannot protect themselves]'. Lift said, 'I will remember [those who have been forgotten]'. This doesn't apply to at least Lightweavers and Bondsmiths though. I usually pace a lot before saying Words. I am still yet to say the Truth I know I must say... Yeah most of them are of similar structure, and well Windrunners and Stonewards are quite similar.

[Discuss] Crystal Hemalurgy!
KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren replied to KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Hmm... thinking about it how, ancient fabrials (ones that can grant Surges) feel a little like Hemalurgy, with how Hemalurgy can steal from Allomancy and Feruchemy. So maybe the spikes are like modern fabrials but with a kind of spren that can grant Investiture-vision. -
What Are You Reading, Part 2
KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren replied to Chaos's topic in Entertainment Discussion
Alright, finished the Remembrance of Earth's Past Trilogy by Cixin Liu a few days ago. That is: The Three-Body Problem The Dark Forest Death's End A few things I have to say, in no specific order: First of all, this is 'hard' sci-fi. Everything that happens in these books is plausible, even if some of them are unlikely. This means that there are references to real science, especially physics. Things like string theory, some quantum mechanics, relativity, etc. Of course, it's not like you need a degree to read it, because I understood it and everything know about physics comes from YouTube videos. Next, this series is (initially) about an alien invasion. Can't say more, but there is a very interesting solutions to the Fermi Paradox presented in the second book. Next, time in this series is a little strange. There's a flashback sequence in the first book that, at least to me, felt abrupt at times. And I don't want to get into spoilers here, but the last book has a tendency to leap centuries like they're puddles of water. So... be warned. There's also a heavy philosophy aspect to this series. I can't give examples because they're all spoilers, but there are times you could question what it means to be human and things like that. Also the aforementioned Fermi Paradox solution has a lot to do with it. The characters aren't... alive like Sanderson characters are. Barely any get any character development. The ending to the series felt, in some ways, like a Sanderlanche. There was a lot of information dumped in the last part, but not so much it felt overwhelming. Well, it kind of did, but that's the point. There wasn't exactly a... 'happy' ending, but it was close enough. It left me really wanting to see what happened immediately after, because [spoilers]. It... really was something. The first books takes a while to get into, but it's worth it. I enjoyed it a lot. The last book claimed the title of my 10th favourite book of all time (you can find my top 47 in my About Me). Even with 'dead' characters, everything else was really good. Now, I can start properly reading The Black Prism. -

Ooh I should bring in my unnamed clone to the Sacrifice Game. Sandy, unfortunately, is needed elsewhere.
-
Yeah. Sandy has already appeared in BftS, the Secret Wars Ultimate Crossover RP, and now TLT.

KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren replied to ElephantEarwax's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Sandy is the ultimate crossover guy He was originally me in BftS before I traded away mathematical Radiance. Then when SpiritOfWrath time travelled, he went back to that time and brought back Sandy. He got his name in Secret Wars, which is actually Sanadanas. Then he returned to BftS to help me and my other clone steal the sandwich. And now he's here. His power comes from the remains of the BftS Mindscape that was destroyed by @Uninteligenius. His abilities include fullborn compounding and mathematical Radiance, the latter of which allows him to manipulate quantum forces and the flow of entropy.- 111830 replies

I misread that as Gemel, Kelsier's old trainer. I was like, where'd he come from?
